What is that windows vista?

Personally!!! I would rather stick with Windows XP!!! Its a whole faster than Vista and things on your hard drive don't crash as easily. A lot of sotfware and Hardware is more compatiable to XP than Vista.

vista sucks! many resources! in a game when you need 1GB to xp in vista you will need 1.5GB or 2GB Vista can be good with last updates SP1 but still buggy and cpu/ram eater i not see bad in use vista in quad cores or I7 with 4+GB and SlI or Crossfire

Well i personally feel that Microsoft went a little unprepared or rather the rest of the world ,including software manufacturers were unprepared for Vista. I agree that most of the software are incompatible with Vista. I myself couldn't install a video editing software on Vista and later had to download a patch to make it work. Given all the problems that Vista brings along in the name of software incompatibility , it also needs a tower of a CPU to run it. Even though it has a few draw backs, it brings vast changes in graphic and aesthetic improvements to your desktop. The sidebar and the Aero effect are examples. It is also stated to be vastly simpler to use and is very secure in terms of internet security. Windows XP is the most used and liked operating system of today, but i feel that Vista will take its place when those few issues are resolved...

I agree with you! when I instal that my nero won't work and after tht my dad delete it and nero can used again. but windows aero desktop really good

I use Windows Vista not yet. Now, I am using Windows XP professional with Microsoft Office 2003. It is enough for me to do my work and finish my work.

We had vista on our computer when we got it but it got slower and slower. Our son took the vista off and put XP on. It is faster now.

I got windows Vista home premium. I must say that is sucks. It uses a lot of resoursces and memory. It got all kind of bugs (although most of them are fixed now) and is very slow. If you are planning to buy windows Vista, DON'T. Don't buy windows vista, because it isn't that good, it makes your computer slower. Just stick to the XP till windows 7 is out. Maybe that one is worth trying.
