Is your TV on?

Hi there Kykidd! I don't have the TV turned on right now but that's because I only have internet access here in our internet cafe and we don't have a tv set here. But when I'm at home, especially in my room, the tv is turned on almost all of the time. I have the tv on the background sometimes while studying, while playing games on the laptop, and sometimes, even while reading.

Most of the time when were in the House its the Radio that we are always using the most but for some reason today all i have been watching is the TV, it's 2.20 am here in the UK and were all still up, i tell the truth im only still up because im addicted to Mylot, thanks

you made me smile with that question. i noticed myself doing that as well. whenever i turn on my computer the TV is on as well and i would rarely glance at it looking for what is shown on the television while i am online. LOL. this is what you call multi-tasking. hehhehehe. i don't like silence so basically that was the main reason i have it on.

At this time i'm here facing my computer in my room, while my mother and daughter is in the living room watching T.V. Yes, i can hear what's on the tv now. For sure, it will be turned on until night time comes, everybody will fall asleep while i'm here in the room infront of my computer and still the tv is turned on

Yes it is 10:49 pm. I'm trying to get my last few hours of Mylotting in and yes, my tv is on. It's on but I'm not watching it. I'm kind of typing and listening at the same time if that makes any sense. My tv stays on all night. I used to turn it off before I went to bed when I was single. My spouse likes to leave the tv on all night. We have been married for 13 years and I can not recall my spouse ever turning the tv off at night. Before I go to work in the morning I will turn it off.

Hello... I dont have a television in our house. But I would like to join the discussion anyways. I am not a tv kind of person. I would rather have a radio than a tv...reason why up to now we dont buy any television set yet. I dont say tv is not good because I do love to watch some news or tv series sometimes...probably it isn't just my priority.

Nope. The TV's in the living room, I don't really have TV here in my room. If I was near the tv then probably I'll have it on as well. But I do watch movies while surfing the web or posting here in mylot sometimes.

Lol it is on :) Actually i am not a TV person it is my husband who likes to watch, But when he goes to bed he leaves it on and i don't turn it off until i go to bed. But during the day when i am home i never turn the TV on!

I try to keep it off. there's very little on that's actually any good. I watch the news in the morning and let the kids watch some tv before school. I try to limited them before bed because they seem to sleep better without watching it. I seldom have it on while doing other things except folding laundry because then i'm actually watching it. I can't stand it when the kids go and do something else and leave the tv on. I think most of it is a matter of wasting electricity.

Yup, my tv is always on, even when I am working on the computer. I listen (rather than watch) to news, shows, music; unless the show is interesting, then I would stop work and watch it. It also provide some sort of background noises!

My TV is always on. When I get up in the morning it goes on and doesn't get turned off until I go to bed. I don't really watch it that much but I guess it is just the noise or something! LOL

I never on my tv while doing mylot. I can't concentrate writing and to have a noisy background makes me feel dizzy. If I am alone only my PC is turning on and nothing more. But if my kids and husband is here well, sad to say it was like a playground at their school too. All the electric appliance are turning on, my boy love to play on line game, my youngest play with her drawing gadgets make paints and arts, my oldest daughter love to hear music and it was just not mellow but she would like her radio turn into loud volume. While my husband really love to watch tv and video. Me? well i would like to cover my ears with cork or cotton... I love silence. We have a little cutie house.

i'm also used to turn my tv on all the time, since i'm the only one left here in the house when my husband goes to work, i don't feel alone when the tv is on because i can hear a lot of people talking so it's like i'm with a bunch of people.

We have 4 tvs. There is only one that has been on in the past 4 years. my daughter watches movies on hers or plays her game cube. We don't use our tvs. We watch tv on our laptops. So usually when I am online, I will watch a movies while mylotting! For back grounnd noise, I use the radio. In the kitchen and bathroom, I listen to talk radio, local, and in the living room, we have Christmas music.

Hello Usually once I am done watching tv I will turn the set off. For the most part I need the peace . I seem to when online listen to music that makes the time go by so much faster for me . My fiance never shuts the tv off and that can be annoying when trying to fall asleep .

When I was younger, I used to have the radio playing all the time. Now, I find annoying that I want to concentrate on something and the TV or radio are on. Maybe I'm just getting old, but also don't like hearing lots of noises in the ground.

I used to always have my television on but the electricity prices went up a lot here so I turn it off when I am on my computer. I always used to like having background noise like you, but now I feel it is better to work and concentrate on what I am doing with the TV off. If someone switches it on now when I am on my laptop I feel I cannot cincentrate as well.

my tv is on all the time. i spend alot of time in my bedroom on the pc and i always have my tv on aswell. its just something i have always done, having the pc and the tv on at the same time.I wonder sometimes why i do it but i never turn it off

Yes, my television is on right now - my daughter is watching Spongebob Squarepants. I usually either have the t.v. on or the radio - have to have something going on in the background - don't like to hear the beating of my heart....lol - I mean don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's beating, but I don't like it when that's the only sound I can hear.
