Have you ever found it difficult to make a choice between two alternatives?

I usually make choices between two alternatives, Among those choices are living near to my parents or far away from them; two kinds of jobs, gifts, schools, clothes, shoes, meals, transportation tools, interestng places to visit, etc some are pieces of cakes, but some really tough and in this case, i sometimes ask my friends, my parents for advice, but sometimes i can only depend on myself when it's really very difficult for me. So i wonder whether you have ever found it difficult to make a joice between two alternatives, and how you make the choice? To ask friends for advice or to decide by flipping a coin or...?
