My favorite vacation picture from last year, it's a shot of half dome in Yosemite Valley, taken from a vista point on highway 120 outside of the valley. Yosemite is famous for its granite walls and domes.

Yosemite is a great place to visit. Even better to live next to it! Check out a local's "Hidden Yosemite" album to get an idea how beautiful Yosemite is.
http://www.yosemiteperegrine.com - too many pictures to post. Most of these are shots of places in Yosemite very few people know about, especially tourists. The owners are a really eccentric and fun loving couple. They give out great advice, they really know Yosemite well, and sent us to some really private spots. My wife and I had a great time there.

very nice I like the fading affect of this picture. Also like how you used a great angle here. The way the mountains line up and give way to more scenery. I can imagin how breathtaking the view actually was if i were there. :)

Much more breathtaking in person, of course!
The fading is due to the distance more than anything that I did! Half dome was probably at least 20 miles away from where I took the picture!
