for me, the second. it's like months that i haven't watch and switched my TV. it's just been collecting dusts. recently, i have been mylotting alot and doing some oniine work. if i want to take a rest, i would simply watch a video or two with my laptop. i feel that i just simply wasted years of potential earning and honing my skills by simply watching too much TV. i was able to watch 24 hours straight those days. even my mom gave me a glass with "The greatest TV addict" printed on it. but i can now claim that i am now a reformed TV addict.... how about you?

Definitely internet right now - but it took years to realize I was paying a fortune to a cable company and only watching one or two things on television. Oddly enough, my loss if interest in cable programming coincided with buying a 50inch LCD and being dissatisfied with the quality my cable provider was giving me. Now we feed the TV with high def or good quality standard material, often from a laptop into the HDMI input. Occasionally I might miss having a stream of "new" material, but for now I spend more time editing in Final Cut or watching DVDs than I do watching "television".

I'm on a LOT. Pretty much whenever I can. Hours a day? Well it depends on the day. At the minimum 2 or 3 hours.

I spend more times on internet, although computer/internet is not compatible alternative of tv. Occasionally I spend some times on tv also, specially while I am having my meals at home. Sometimes I connect my laptop to big tv screen to do my internet jobs as well as switching over to tv when i am tired of internet job.

Internet without question. I like TV, but could do without it. The internet is my source for news, income, communicating with friends and list serves. Most TV I can watch online anyway.

Never having had the TV addiction, I cannot be reformed. Hubby has it on sometimes, but I mostly ignore it, as I'm always doing something else.

The interent for me, but I am more of a hands on person that the type just to sit and watch tv. Even before my computer, I would read or do something else most of the time that the tv is on. There is just so little worth watching anymore. I'm addicted to my computer.

For me, I would choose internet. Most of my time is spent with my laptop. Same as you are, I also do home based work and I do a lot of research for that. If I have no work, I usually spend my time reading a lot about graphics design and computer stuff. I'd rather spend my time on a more productive way than watching TV.

I have not watched TV for about 6 months.I was online every day.But I can read the news on the internet.I can watch the TV program on the internet.Nearly all things TV has , you also can find online. So I think ,I can leave TV for 6 month, but I can't leave internet for 6 days.

I would really choose the internet. Now a days there are tons of things you can do with the internet to keep yourself entertained. And there are numerous of free services that will allow you to watch tv shows and movies for free. one example of this would be http://www.wwtv.com I can watch gossip girl without having a tv by checking the day after it was aired on my computer.

Hello, shiloh_22. I would choose Internet. You can watch television from Internet, did you know? It means that the computer can also be a television, with the same quality and all. Just with a different screen. Internet is doing everything for us lately, as long as you know how to use it. That's why I would choose it over Television. Television is not as great as before. It is still being watched by million of people, but it is not the same thing as before. We have to realize that soon the channels will be exhibited mainly in Internet and not in TV Sets only. Special channels will be created for those who want to watch television from their computer. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Well I would choose the internet. I think TV can provide the complete enterntainment package but I would rather use the internet as it allows a lot of options. I can read news, watch news, download and listen to music, watch my favorite movies anytime, also earn anytime. So I think the internet has a slight edge over the TV.

Wow, well I could never watch 24 hours of TV straight!! But I do like to watch it once in a while when I need to chill out. Being on the net is cool and I really enjoy it but I just get tired sometimes as the internet is quite interactive and sometimes I just want to sit back and absorb information without giving anything back, and the TV is usually good for that! I don't watch that much TV these days to be honest though, maybe around 30 min to 1 hour a day

The internet. It offers everything, television shows included. I download Heroes from LimeWire while surfing, chatting and working. I just love the internet for all the options it offers including the ability to learn and hone skills such as writing.
