When you walk in the streets one can see already Christmas lightings, christmas trees, cribs and other decorations. Do you think that it is too early for Christmas? Or do you feel the Christmas Spirit already? © ronaldinu 2008

Thanks for the best response. That was very nice. Tell me more about how your Christmas went. It is fun when kids are young and we are blessed to be able to enjoy that once again. It was so different when my kids started to grow.

Well I have my tree up, put it up on Wednesday morning and done it with no sense of excitement really except to see how my little sister would react who was came later that day. She loved it. I have no Christmas Spirit right now. Money problems tend to do that to a person on the Holidays.

It's always raining here in our country which is very strange for a Christmas season. We now could not feel the natural cool breeze in the morning sans the rain. I believe it is about time that we feel the distinctive Christmas cool breeze. There are Christmas lights and Christmas decors around but can't totally appreciate because of the wet roads brought about by too much raining.

Hi ya ronaldinu I don't feel Christmassy at all at the moment. The lighting ceremony in my town is happening tonight so there are no lights on our town and I have only seen one person with their Christmas lights on in the their window. I am sure most people will do theirs this weekend but we are doing ours next weekend. I think because I did most of my Christmas shopping in October might be another reason why I feel the way I do. I will get some wrapping done tonight with maybe a glass of something to warm the cockles of my heart after singing carols tonight. Fingers crossed that the rain stays off!

It is still too early for Christmas. They've decorated the streets, but the lights are still off. I think they said they'll turn the lights on on December the 6th, when we celebrate St. Nicholas Day. That traditionally marks the beginning of winter celebrations in my country. I really hate the waste of energy those street lights represent...

Our town's lights were switched on on saturday, the christmas spirit was all down the town and it is now flowing. We now have our tree up so our house is ful of christmas spirit

I can see the Christmas spirit all around me - but it just makes me feel panicky! I haven't even started a LIST of things to do, let alone getting around to doing them. Time seems to fly so fast these days, and I sometimes have nightmares of waking up on Christmas morning having done nothing about it. It might happen!

Hi ronaldini! I am not ready for Christmas yet! I still need a little more time to get myself ready and into the spirt! For me it still is just a bit too early. I know that people around me are starting to decorate and are getting their shopping done, but I am just not ready yet. I am planning on doing some Christmas shopping next week so maybe then I will feel more in the Christmas spirt, but I'm not sure. It has been a rough year for me. I do hope that maybe by next week I will be ready to put up the tree, although we are only putting up a 2 foot tree since my cats will climb a bigger one and putting up a few decorations and maybe window lights.

Yes very much! I love christmas it's such a fun time, and people are more giving and caring! I love decorating with my kids, and making cookies! Most of the ornaments I have are ones that my grandma made so it makes it special!

The christmas spirit is indeed in place now.. everywhere is in the mood for celebration just that, the day hasn't really come.. Though there's a recession now, but that still doesn't stop ple from celebrating it.. The light ups and decorations are still as nice and pretty just like before.. As such, alot of ple are using christmas as their way to beat the stress or recession.. hehe ^_^ As for me, i definitely feel the christmas spirit even though i dun celebrate it.. lol

I love to see the decorations and I love the music. It's hard to keep the spirit up with all the money worries out there. But just kids, under 16 get presents this year in our family, the rest get homemade stuff, food, special picture cards and such

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..." I started getting into the holiday groove once Thanksgiving Day hit. Considering that we still have to put a tree up, I have been listening to Christmas music and enjoy the lights. One of our neighbor's house looks like Liberace's gingerbread house at night. I think I'm compensating for feeling such a scrooge last Christmas.
