If you were stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea what would you do? I have often wonder about this saying and have never found an answer as to how it came about. I have been in a situation like it where no matter what I did I would have been wrong. Have you been there?

How "between" are we talkin' here wanderer? 
If I'm closer to the devil then I'm gonna need me some serious negotiation skills and more than likely something of significance to bribe him with. If I'm leaning towards the deep blue sea side of things, then damn the devil and I'm goin' swimming or fishing! 
I could give you a serious response here with some solid examples of my own experiences of being damned if I do and damned if I don't, but this IS the panda spanking interest and that just wouldn't be right at all.

Just watch out that you don't become a meal for the sharks James. I might be better to go to the devil. Sorry I went away from ther panda theme but you did say we could talk about anything here. I have been spanking the panda but I felt I was going to the devil too.

I ain't concerned with sharks wanderer. They're nuthin' but great big goldfish! A swift panda spank to the head and they'll be shootin' off like rockets I reckon! 
By the way, getting the panda spank JUST right will lift you to a state of bliss that more resembles Heaven than hell. You just have to practice a bit more to find the sweet spot!

I would probably just stay with the devil and have a good chat and ask how's life in hell. It would be much warmer weather this way too, which is great because I don't like the cold! 
. I'm not good at swimming and I wouldn't be able to open my mouth in the water and drown pretty quickly. So no deep blue sea for me!

Sorry you cannot swim riyasam. It will definately have to be the devil for you. Hope help comes in time. Thanks for the response.
