My father and brother abre both BBQ fanatics. The only thing that would stop them from firing up the grill might be a hurricane. We live in the south, so that is about the most extreme weather we would get.

I actually went to a barbecue about a week ago, and it was fantastic. We had ribs, burgers, sausages, and steaks. Winter BBQs are great when it's sunny but cold.

Being as we're in Texas, if the weather is good, the roomie's dad will fire up the pit once in a while. Heck, back in the middle of November we had a party and he had the pit going. I was sick and spent most of the party in a chair in the living room sleeping or trying to.

We definitely still use our grill during the Winter. Usually when it is a nice sunny Saturday or Sunday. We like to grill up several nice pieces of meat to eat on all the following week.

Oh we still barbeque in the winter, we don't ever pack our grill away, its still sitting out on the deck. We just went halves on a side of beef, so we've got a lot of steaks to eat, so I'm sure we'll be grilling them, thats the only way I will eat a steak is if its grilled.

I have a electric barbecue, as well as a gas one, so if I wanted a barbecue, I would have my electric one in the winter that I could easily use in side our house. We have the electric one that is huge, it is the largest george forman one.I have only ever had one winter one and that was many years ago, it was done by my husband outside, under a gazebo.

We barbeque year round, sun, rain, fog, or snow. My hubby is a BBQ nut. He can't live without it, lol. We have covered back patio and the Barbeque is always ready for him, whenever he decides to use it. Our freezer is always stocked with what he likes to bbq also, like steaks, sausages, and chicken. We don't use a propane grill either. He only likes charcoal and wood chips (preferable mequite).

IN singapore, we only have two seasons.. Hot and rainy seasons.. haha ^_^ Most of the time, our barbecues are held during the rainy seasons, as it's also school holidays as well as festive season.. Thus, it's more popular during those times.. But, we had to compete against the rain, hopefully it will not rain the day when we have our barbecues.. haha
Plus, if we want barbecus, we have to book pits and it's mostly in the parks, so it's also quite inconvenient too.. Unless one is staying in condos or private houses, only then they can barbecus at their own comfort in their house and time.. haha

We normally don't bar-b-q in the winter but I have done it before. It actually tastes better I think. Maybe it's just the wishful thinking of the warm weather to come.

My family sometimes barbecue in winter so we do not put away te grill unless it is going to snow and do not want to damage the grill.
