Can you please tell what does a reputation means. New to mylot and don't understand what these stars means in front of users. Will be great if you explain them.

the star is your reputation in how you type. for example , i have a gold star meaning that i write fairly good quality stuff. the best star is blue, which means you write the BEST quality stuff. there are a lit of different colors. and dont feel bad i did nto know for a long time either.

Are you sure you are not looking at the number of posts (which is under the name) of the person? Reputations are the stars and the highest you can get is a 100/100 with a #10 star. That is my understanding.

i have only seen, i think it was around 5,000+ and the other 88/100. i dont have much knowledge about reputation. but i do know that you are rated according to your response. can you tell more about reputation rating and the star and the color

there is reputation, ranking in each discussion category of interest and the ( )
reputation is when the color of your star ( blue being the highest and is like 95/100 is the highest, this is made when your comments and discussions are really well made, and you are able to make other people put a lot of thought into theirs.
ranking is how much you go to a category and comment/make discussions,and also how common you are there, or in other words how many other people know you by name there.
the ( ) is basically the number of posts you have made.
