I'm thinking about buying my daughter a digital camera for Christmas. Nothing expensive just something that is made for kids. Has anyone every bought this before for their child? If so what brand was it and how much did you pay? I'm pretty sure Fisher Price makes one. I just have to look into it.

Depending on the age of your daughter, my 13 year old got a nice Kodak Easy Share for his birthday. It is 7.0 mp (good) and very easy to operate. It was $129.00 at K-Mart, but only $119.00 at Staples. I bet there will be some pretty good sales on them this Christmas.I have had my easy Share for 4 years now, it was $300.00. It's been dropped, banged, everything and it is still an awesome Easy to use camera.

Hi, I'm not sure how old your daughter is (assuming 6 or so?) but yes the Fisher Price Kid Tough Digital Camera is a great buy and will survive falls off the table, etc. They run about $130 or so. Another option is the Hello Kitty VGA digital camera but it's not really in the same league. I think Vtech make one as well.

I do not know how young your child is but I have heard a couple of my friends had these cameras just quit on them. They were gifts so it is not as if they paid for them but still someone did. If the child is older you can get them a real camera for the same or less money that takes better pictures.
