Mylot members are more polite and respectful peoples. Agree?

i agree MOST are, but then u do have the select few who are judgmental and try to put others down from a single post without knowing the real person. but i am also a member of cafemom and it's ridiculous how many drama starters there are.

In general I agree that people on mylot are polite. I did come across one who told me to butt out of a discussion!!!!

In general yes but you do come across some rude people and some that try to provoke you for no reason. Just the other day I wrote a new discussion a person wrote something that had nothing to do with the discussion and I said I dont know why you wrote to me when this does not interest you (as that is what the person said I have no interest in this) and he/she wrote back "so I can see how nasty you can get" What the ????? But I choose not to get involved I am here to have good time not to argue for the sake of arguing

Yes I totaly agree with you. The people here on mylot are very nice n friendly. If you have a problem or need help with anything their very helpful with their opinions and what they say to you. I love this site and i'm glad I joined. Ive met alot of nice ppl on here and I will never trade this site for any other. I am starting to get my friends to come on here as well!

yeah..i totally agree with vincemacmohan...mylotters are very polite and respectful...i like to come here and discuss stuff..also here people respond to discussion immediately...also at mylot you get knw so many new social things... happy mylotting.. thanks

hye VinceMcMahon. how u doing there? i dont have any experience being involved in forums or discussions boards before. mylot is my first one. and yes, so far im here, i could see people here are polite and we are like family. a big family that supports and respect each other. mylot is a place i feel comfortable because of its people.

You are absolutely correct.I had peeked into some forums and encountered so many crude nauseating discussions.It has never happened in Mylot.It is really lone of it's kind.

Hi VinceMcMahon, one of the reasons I love mylot site and stick to it for almost two year here, is majority of the users here are polite, respectable, enthusiastic and helpful. I enjoy the harmonious atmosphere among the users here. I did see a few users here before who were really rude when throwing unreasonable comments in some discussions, definitely they were not welcome and of course they found themselves couldn’t find any friends and benefit here as well and were no longer here anymore. posting and have a nice day.

We do have a very nice group of people here on myLot. But I'm afraid that it's not all that unexpected. Flaming, name calling, offensive language, are all against myLot posting guidelines. They will get a discussion or post deleted and if done continually will get the offender banned. Very rude people don't last long here. So the only people left are usually fairly polite and respectful people. Sort of "enforced" politeness. There are a few discussions in the "Religion" or "Politics" categories that can get pretty wicked and disrespectful. Both are such emotional topics it's to be expected. You either jump into the fray or stay away from those categories! But even there, anything that gets too out of hand will be deleted.

In my experiences so far, yes, mylot members are very courteous. People give nice responses if they like your feedback to their questions. I haven't experienced any type of negativity here so far as many many people are considerate. I respect mylot and write responses the way I would like to recieve them.

I agree. I've also noticed that myLot has members that respect each other and aren't afraid to share their opinions - the best part of this is, though, that others don't bash their opinions at all, but usually accept them calmly and make an attempt to understand the other's reasoning. I find that overall, this discussion board has a very friendly and respectful atmosphere: much better compared to many other boards and forums I have seen or participated in. I have never noticed any serious flaming going on here on myLot. It amazes me how many people are very open-minded, polite, and just plain respectful. Any arguments that I've seen so far were caused by simple misunderstandings, and were usually resolved very quickly, without either of the members making a big deal or flaming about it angrily. ^_^ I think that this ambiance is what makes myLot a wonderful place to be, and when talking about it, I always remember to mention the politeness and friendly and respectful attitude of its members. =D

Though I have been here for a short span of time only, I can say that its true, mylot members are polite people. I've only met a few rude people here but I think its more on cultural differences rather than actual attitude that made me think they were rude.

well thank you we really try to talk to others like we want to be talked to we don,t always agree but we do respect each other with so many personality here you know we all are not going to agree which is fine we all like a chanllege ever now and again.but after it,s over with we still respect each other.

yes mylot members are so polite and respectable people.they are making good discussions and doing well.thay are hard workers.they can do it very well.
