I currently sell on eBay but with all the new changes I really want to find another place to sell. I would love to know who you think makes the best eBay alternative for selling online and why? Doesn't absolutely have to be auction format just a place where work at home based small business, regular person can sell online without all the high fees and ever changing rules... any suggestions?

Kijiji is new to me, and I have considered Craigs list but when you sell on Craigs List (from what I understand) you can only list your item in one metropolitan location at a time...I would like to have the exposure nationwide. But I do like Craigs List and am investigating ways of using it to draw people to all of my items

If you sell books, you can try Amazon or ABE. Those are far better sites than eBay. They have relatively high fees (especially Amazon) but the books sell much higher and the set up is smoother. Also, they don;t seem to be floundering the wasy ebay is these days. I get the feeling that all the silly new rulers are the new guy's way of making people think he is doing something when he really doesn't have a clue. There just doesn't seem to be a plan in place anymore and sellers are pretty disgusted.

You might try Craigs list. Its free and you wont have to pay any money to list and you can list with pictures. Hope this helps you and Merry Christmas.

If you are interested in handmade, one-of-a-kind, or vintage items, you can sell on etsy.com. Their fees are low and the traffic is amazing! You also get paid realistic prices for your items, which is a HUGE bonus! I have sold a lot of vintage clothing and accessories on there and have only had my store for about 6 months. You can sell anything from health and beauty products, to clothing and a lot more!! Good Luck!!

You can try your luck on some of the free auction sites. I sold a few items on Webidz and some on bidjunk. I know there are a few others as well. I had better luck on Webidz since it had a bit more traffic than bidjunk but my items didn't sell quickly and some didn't sell at all. Good luck to you!
