Hi there. As a lot of people above me said, practice is indeed the key. Joining English language forums such as myLot is as good a step in improving your English writing skills. Using English to communicate daily with friends, relatives, etc. would improve your English-speaking skills. Reading could also help widen your vocabulary and familiarize you with sentences patterns, expressions, etc. Good luck.

Immerse yourself in the language. What do I mean by this?
Expose yourself as often as you can to English. Read English books. Watch English movies. Talk in English as much as possible. The more you hear, read and write the language, the more able you will be to retain the vocabulary and the syntax of the language. As a non-native English speaker myself, I feel that me being a reader of English books, since I was little, had contributed much in my grasp of it.
Also, check this website out, livemocha.com. It's a free site where you can learn English by taking lessons and correponding with native speakers.
Good luck in your language-learning, and have fun. Soon you will be speaking English as well as you can.

My advice to you is to practice every day. Look words up in a dictionary and learn to spell the words as well as understand what they mean. Then write the words in sentences. Have someone check your work. Practice 10 new words each day. After awhile, you will be very good at reading, writing and speaking English. Good Luck to you.

Be confident & deserve "can do" attitude. As English is your second language, you need some time to command over it. Practice speaking, writing, watching english & soliloquizing on a specific topic everyday. Try to learn vocabularies & use them variously. Be patient, you will definitely improve your English. Best luck.

I'm sure I'm repeating what others have said, but I shall said it again. The best way to improve is to practice, practice, practice. Practice speaking it, and reading it. As a kid, my parents taught me english and french at the same time, and even now neither are perfect. But still writing e-mails to my parents and friends help me. Talking to my parents and friends in either languages help. If you have friends you speak english, you can always ask them to help you out. Hope these suggestions help.

taking part in discussions on sites like mylot are a good way to improve your English. You have to practice as much as possible. If you know someone who speaks English well try to talk to them as much as possible. Only speak in English to them unless there is something you do not understand and then ask them to tell you what it means in your language and then repeat it in English. Try to learn a few new words each day. You can do this on mylot. I hope you enjoy yourself wile you are learning.

I am not good too but you can make it I know by practice. Try to look at the dictionary all the words you would like to know meaning and try to put it in a sentences. There are words telling how to use it in a sentence and some other dictionary that have sentences already. Read always English magazines, books, articles and watch English movies. By doing this everyday you will notice that you know how to compose your English well.

To help you understand and be fluent in english, use the english language as often as possible. If you use and practice it in speaking, you will hear yourself and be aware if you pronounced it right. Practice helps you a lot in making it perfect. Plus you have to watch English movies and try to follow on the way they say those words. As of me i even watch Cartoons, Disney and Animated movies in english. It did help me a lot to understand and taught me how to be a good speaker in english. And in seeing movies and listening to english language, you will understand more the language. It is like teaching yourself by your own self. First is listening, then speaking, lastly is writing. That's how learning is. Good luck.
