I'm not aware of any risks, although a lot of people I know profess to its being a good way to eat vegetables, especially for people like me, who aren't fond of it. I drink two glasses of vegetable juice everyday. I'm not talking about juiced up vegetables here, as I can't stand it either. Before, my mom would juice up carrots and mix it with apple juice every week, and drinking it was a huge ordeal for me. The one drink now comes in powdered form and it's citrus-flavored so I love the taste. For me, it's a lot better that not having any vegetables at all. I think nothing beats the "real thing" though, so if you can stand vegetables, I say you stick with it. If you hate it, then at least get the vegetable juice.

There is no real difference if you are buying pure vegetable juice. Look at the label and make sure no sugar is added to the juice. If it is 100% juice, it has the same vitamins and nutrients as whole vegetables. There is no risk involved and it is perfectly safe and will replace having to eat veggies.

Vegetable juice is healthy, but it doesn't have the fiber of fresh vegetables.
By all means drink vegetable juice instead of cola or other sugary drinks, but you still should eat fresh vegetables. I you are out and about and need a drink, a veggie drink is always a better than the sweet stuff.

For me therei are a couple of reasons. First of all some of the nutrients and the fiber are in the skin so you will miss out on all of the power that vegetables have to offer by not eating the skin. The other reason that I think whole vegetables are better than juice is from a calorie standpoint. It takes much more than a cup of vegetables or fruit to get a cup of juice so you would be consuming more calories drinking juice. Last thing is that 1 cup of vegetables is more filling that 1 cup of juice. Just a couple of things to consider

Vegetable juices are quite healthy but with comparison to eating the whole vegetable it, the vegetables are quite nutritious, some of its nutrients are n the juice while some are in the other parts of the vegetable which you should eat. And well like they say the main thing you should eat of a potato are its skin as they contain all the proteins which your body actually needs.
