Yesterday, I took my daughter to the cinema to watch Madagascar(2) which opened in cinemas last weekend.
I really enjoyed the movie and it was even better than the first, plenty of funny moments for a hearty laugh! It is that sort of animation movie that you kinda don't want to end. The soundtracks were really good too...
Without spoiling the movie for anyone else that may go to see it, here's the official website that has a trailer too
http://www.madagascar-themovie.com/index.html
Madagascar2's voice cast includes the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer, Andy Richter, Alec Baldwin, will.i.am, Bernie Mac and Sherri Shepherd.
Have you watched Madagascar? Will you go watch this sequel? Do you like the movie? I'd recommend and it's a good family movie..

Yes, me and my daughter went to see it last month. She and I both really enjoyed it. It is amazing what they can do with these movies now and days. It was just great animation. I think when it comes out on DVD I am going to get it for my daughter.

I first watched the first part when we borrowed my lil girl's best friend's DVDs and we were hooked and had to watch the sequel, it's a pretty good animation movie and it does have humour that adults will find interesting too

Hi marina! Hey, how are ya? You know, I didn't see it and I
don't have any kids, but the hype here in the USA is really
making me want to go see it! I love animated movies! And
with that cast, why wouldn't I! It would probably be a movie
I'd have to go see by myself because I don't think I could
convince anyone to go see it with me though. If the movies
weren't so ridiculously priced I think I would really love to
go see it even if it was by myself! I actually have this free
movie thing from my cable company that if I go to this really
awful theatre on Tuesdays I can see movies for free. The only
problem (besides all the broken seats and the fact that you
can't see over the people's heads) is that the really good
movies never play there! I'm glad you and your daughter got
to see it and maybe I will too! You never know!

Hey Opal, I'm good. How are you?
It is a great movie, it does not disappoint and is even better than the first..loads of laughter My daughter who is only four thoroughly enjoyed it as we'd watched the first one on DVD at home and it was a great first cinema experience for her
You will enjoy it when you get to see it, if you enjoyed the first; it's even better..

Unlike the Shrek films or any flick made by Pixar, adults won't find much amusing besides the Penguins. Once the characters arrive on the island then the movie picks up cause everything before that is just a drag. The animals they meet up with are indeed very funny (especially the king). If you need something for the kiddies then this is a worthy rental. But as an adult I didn't find this film leaving a lasting impression on me.

I don't normally get lasting impressions from movies and just enjoy it while it lasts and only remember a few moments in the movie that are worth talking about..

I saw it and loved it!
I'm usually not a huge animation fan but my friends were going so I decided to tag along for the social aspect. It was so funny and cute. I love the animation too! I didn't see the first one though. I hope to see it some day.
I give it two thumbs up

I wonder where I could download it online. I always look for sites but can never find them. It always costs money... I might as well just rent it if I'm going to pay for the download.

No I have not seen it or the first one. I hardly eer make it to the movies and now I can't afford it. But if it comes out on DVD will try to get with my son. We buy two each year for Christmas for when My Mom comes and we all sit and watch movies with her. And then that is our present to her. But I'm working on saving money for her to go to AZ. in Jan. So maybe this year we will only get one movie. Your friend onlydia

Yes i have watch that movie and injoyed watching it. I like the story for it is about friendship and being there when you need help. And also it is about family willing to sacrifice in order the save someone you love and care most. The music is also good,'i like to move it, move it, he likes to move it, move it'. very entertaining movie for the whole family.

YEA I liked it VERY MUCH. Well people might say I might be old for cartoons but I don't care I still like it, specially when that old woman beats up the lion, it was so funny. I like Madagascar very much as the musics in it are catchy as well. "I like to move it move it". I watched in on DVD and they have a funny music video on it. You might also want to get the DVD its fun to watch it over and over again.

its very funny but i do not think that the g rating is correct for young children . more of a pg-13 humor at times
