its a great *story*. Dan brown himself said it was ficticious! humans as a species like stories that could be real. and that is why we like this book. it is vert realistic but nonetheless it is still a story.

I totally agree Dan Brown said himself the story was ficticious. I think too many people took it as the truth and that Magdalene was Jesus' wife, but there is nothing that supports that. Even Da Vinci' painting of the last supper the person they are refering to is the disciple John. I mean it even says he was feminine in character. I think we try to pick apart the pieces of things, and people took Da Vinci Code as something to pick a part not just the Catholic faith, but the entire Christian faith.

Its one of the great book and really puts our brain to think in every possible angle. There is a good probability that this is true, but no real evidence present. And this is the problem

it's just a book. the Da Vinci Code has no impact on how I live my life. and neither does the bible. in fact, few books do. the only book I can think of that had a real impact on my life was "hugh fearlessly eatsitall" which is a book about food and food production, and ethics in food production. that has had a real impact on how I view food, what it means to me, and how I make my consumer choices.

I don't know if the story is true or false. I believe my own religion and I think others would believe their own as well. The story can be true and can be false, it's only a story, but I think it is likely that the story shows many secrets to us, we can have different views to think about Jesus.
