I won $60 in the writing contest at Helium,

Congrats!! Those contests are not easy to win. I am currently competing in the homeschooling and distance learning category. I've been bouncing around from 1st to 4th. I hope I can stay on top after it closes this week!!! If you don' mind, I'd like to get some feedback on some of my articles there. Hi Jena, Congratulations! You are really doing very well. I wish I had as much time to concentrate on Helium. I'm almost done with a writing assignment and going to move on to writing a book with a couple of friends. So I really do not know how much time I have left for writing articles at Helium or Triond. All the best to you! I hope you get more winings.

I have only managed to win second prize in a Helium contest so far, but that does not discourage me. I enjoy writing those articles. Helium has now added a monthly creative writing contest, in addition to its regular Adopt A Title contests for articles. Only yesterday I posted on my blog about entering writing contests. Congratulations. I belong to Helium, but have only submitted one article to them. I write for Associated Content mostly (but haven't even been doing much of that lately). I'd love to write more for Helium but don't have a reader base. I'd love to read your artlicle though. I am into "alternative therapy" as well.

Wow. That is just really amazing. I have a few articles in helium and I've tried to enter some of those writing contest but I've never won anything. It's nice to see that someone has won something there. $60 is a pretty good amount. I haven't been there in a while because I get so discouraged but I'll probably go and start writing more there after I finish this semester in college. Congratulations and good luck.

WAHOOOO! Congratulations! I missed the competition stuff this time around, I think, since most were ending by the time I noticed them. I was concentrating on the Marketplace titles and didn't look at the next page, lol! That's a huge encouragement for you. You have the right to be really proud of it, too! Let's hope that another subject area you like comes up next time around... preferably one I don't like, so I don't have to suddenly get better at writing to beat you, hehehehe!!
