This took me longer to put together than my list of actresses for romantic comedies, but I was able to make a decision. The crux of the matter is that I need to find a male actor that has more than 2 successful romantic comedy under his belt.
After much deliberation, here are my top five in no particular order:
1. Hugh Grant - This British hunk has charmed my hearts in several movies starting from 4 Weddings and a Funeral, About A Boy, Two Weeks Notice, About a Boy and Music and Lyrics, to name a few.
2. Ben Stiller - Though not handsome by my definition, he has starred in some funny movies, most notably There's Something About Mary and Meet the Parents.
3. John Cusack - I just love his movies. From his 80s hit Say Anything, to Grosse Point Blank to more current ones like You Must Love Dogs.
4. Adam Sandler - Comedic and goofy, I love him in 50 First Dates, The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds.
5. Matthe McConaughery - I adore him in romantic comedies. He is such a guy's guy, but he comes off both tough and sweet. To name a few of his films: How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Fool's Gold and Failure to Launch.
How about you? Who do you is the ultimate actor who is great when it comes to romantic comedies? Must have more than 2 successful romantic comedies under his belt. Vote from my list or add a few names of your own.

Adam Sandler- I just love how funny he is, and he does it naturally.

Jackie Chan- He jsut is cool, in a funny sort of way.

I think he comes off pretty well in romantic comedies. My impression of him is that he is such a guy's guy, and is very comfortable in his own skin. Plus he is just sexy..LOL!

This one is pretty easy for me. I start with Matthew McConaughey, and I think my favorite movie of his (as far as romantic comedies) is How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, which seems to be very popular among romantic comedy lovers. Second is Hugh Jackman. He has been in a couple romantic comedies: Kate and Leopold and Someone Like You. Someone Like is You is my favorite, which he costars with Ashley Judd. Another actor, who flies mostly under the radar, but whom I love in a romantic comedy is Bill Pullman. While You Were Sleeping is my favorite romantic comedy of his, although he was also in Mr. Wrong. And last but not least is Richard Gere. Who can forget Pretty Woman or Runaway Bride?

Great choices, Ambie Pam. Good call on Bill Pullman. It's been a while since I've seen him on screen, but I enjoyed his romantic comedies.

Owen Wilson is a good choice. I like how he plays always the irresponsible fool, but does it so well. Jim Carrey, of course, is a great comedian.

Considering romantic comedies pretty much make me want to break things, I'm going to go with Richard Gere because he was in two of the few I didn't hate - Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride.
John Cusack is also one of my favorites although I never really pictured him as a romantic leading man. Say Anything was a fabulous movie.
On the subject of 80's teen romance movies, Can't Buy Me Love and Loverboy.... Dr. McDreamy, Patrick Dempsey, before he was dreamy, back when he was a little bit geeky.

I know I didn't watch Pretty Woman over and over just because of Julia Roberts...LOL...Richard Gere was pretty yummy.
Actually John Cusack has plenty of romantic comedies under his belt, but I usually will watch him in any movie he is in.
OH, yes the fabulous 80s with the Brat Pack. Patrick Dempsey did pull geeky lead roles quite well during that time.

Your list is very impressive. Only two rally stand out in my mind at the moment and they are Matthew McConaughy (I adore him) and Vince Vaughn. I can't wait to see the new Vince Vaughn with Reese Witherspoon...4 Christmas's...it looks hilarious. I love Matthew McConaughy no matter what he is in. I have to agree with you also on Adam Sandler. He is a riot. I especially loved 50 First Dates.

Good call on Vince Vaughn...Wedding Crashers, The Break-up! I like McConaughy too, and yes I think I watch 50 First Dates several times, just to laugh. I love the scene when he pretended he was being beaten by his friend.

I think that Keanu would be best at a romantic comedy and of course Will Smith. Hitch was hilarious and he acted so suave in that movie until she came along and ruined his prowess.

Oh yes, Will Smith is a good choice. I love him in Hitch. He should do more romantic comedies. I see Keanu more in romantic dramas than comedy: Lake House,
Sweet November, A Walk in the Clouds.
