who is the most important player in Chelsea?

hi, guys! i'm very glad that chelsea has won a crucial match last night and qulified for next round in the Champions' League...but at times of that match, the blues seemed be at risk due to the poor defence..thanks to God that my favorite Drogba had come back and helped the team move on with one goal...i reckon he is the most important player in chelsea now...what do u think?

I won't go as far as saying it's one player .. but for me the team built around Cech - Carvalho - Terry - Lampard - Drogba ... they are all the heartbeat of the team and when all play together and playing well I think Chelsea are a force to be reckoned with .. the sooner Carvalho returns from injury the sooner our defence will be shored up .. i think also Essien partnering Lampard in midfield gives us more drive more power ... each one i mentioned brings something special to Chelsea and without any one of them our game changes ..

in my opinion lampard is the most important player. he is the one who scores goals for chelsea on a regular basis. he keeps the team moving by making the runs in the penalty box. drogba still needs to improve and partner well with anelka if he wants to stay and play at chelsea as he did previous seasons.

chelsea has many good players and to me it is their core group of players which are important and not only one. They are Cech, Terry, Essien, Lampard, Drogba, Anelka, Joe Cole. I do not think Deco and Ballack are important to the team and they can be easily replaced. Ballack is not his same self compared to when he was in Leverkeusen. He did not performed in Bayern and now Chelsea. to me he is over-rated. Deco is skillful but somehow i do not find him playing well in the league or recently which is why Barcelona can afford to let him go.

hi,chiaeugene! Ballack and Deco are also contributing a lot to chelsea in my opinion. they may have some problems that affecting their performance on the pitch though...Ballack is older now than the time when he was in Germany clubs, and he was bothered by injury all the time..this is the point i think why he's no better than what he used to be...however, whenever he was playing for chelsea, his harding-working, determination of winning and the spirit of never giving up inspire every teamate on the pitch to fight for victory...Deco is a worldclass midfielder, i have no doubt of that..he is still a pretty good player now. though he needs more time to adapt himself to both the England Premier League and Chelsea FC..

I think the vital player might be Terry. Drogba is the key attacker while Lampard is necessary for the midfield. But neither of them is more important than Terry.

i think cech is the most important player in chelsea.he often has excellent performance in many matches.
and mourinho has said chelsea will reduce 15 points without cech.this means chelsea hardly could compete with manchester,arsenal and liverpool.you know 15 points is a big diffrence .

I think it's Terry since it lead it's team really well and he is like a wall to other teams attack.
