The last thing I do before going out of my house is to either Comb my hair or tie up my hair.
However, if I'm at home the entire day (which is rarely the case nowadays), I will not Comb my hair. I will just use a clip to clip up my hair. This is the reason why I hate surprise visits from friends. I wouldn't want them to see my messy hair look
Am I weird?
So, do you Comb your hair if you are at Home the entire day?

ha ha ha ha ha... I too do not comb or brush my hair when I am home the whole day.
But sporting short hair, that is not a major factor.
The only time my hair is a mess is when I just work up. That is when my hair is at its worst! My pillow hair is horrible!
But nothing a little water cannot fix.

Yeah... I too noticed that as well. It seems to be the in-thing with teens today. Putting so much gel on their hair to get that pillow hair look!
Goodness! It is so untidy looking!
Amazingly, some of these teens are so good in their art of hair styling, they can make real hair look like toupees! SO many times, I am just so tempted to go up to one of them and give their hair a tug just to see if it is real!

I do not usually comb my hair, when I am at home. I just relax at home and do not much care about my outwardly appearance. When I go out, then only I do some dressing up. However, is suddently somebody turns up, if I am in a shabby condition, I immediately dress up myself and comb my hair.

Well I brush it at least once a day, sometimes more. I do not like combs much but a good brush just feels so nice and I love the feel of freshly brushed hair. I do not see what it matters if we are home alone or not.
I brush my hair for me not for anyone else. I do not care what others think but I like the way it feels.

I have very long hair so I always put it up in a funny looking bun unless I am going out somewhere special. It looks ok so I am not too worried if someone drops by.

You are not weird! I'm the same as you. I too don't like surprise visits from my friends, because i don't wear nicely at home, perhaps just simply a sarung or pyjamas. My hair will be very messy. I don't feel comfortable to show up like this in front of my friends, it's kind of manner in my sense.
If i'm at home, i will just comb my hair after showering. After that, i just use the clip to clip my hairs or tie them up. Happy mylotting.

If I'm at home,I would still comb my hair for me to tie it up neatly.

If I'm a home all day no. If someone comes by unexpectedly though I'm using my fingers to straighten it a lot of times right before I answer the door

Well I am home all the time and I brush my hair every morning and tie it up to keep it out of my way so I can see. It is too long to leave lying around these days as it gets in the way. One it is tied up I comb it to make it look neater and then I don't look at it again for the rest of the day.
I have to brush my hair to keep it tidy but I do it because I love the feel of brushing. Oh it is like a head massage and it is sooooo nice. Yum. Combs just do not feel the same at all.

i have fine hair. so combing my hair takes 5 seconds. but when i wake up and see myself in the mirror, i usually just comb it fast with my fingers, playing with it fast, but not really combing it. rather making sure it goes all to one direction. then i go back doing what needs to be done, like feeding pets, getting my coffee, computer work, etc.

I have shorter hair, above my neck, so I do. It may not look great but I do need to comb it.

Most women' don't want their hair to look messy or not done up in some sort of stylish way. So I don't think you are weird at all. Personally, I don't comb my hair. I have a real fine hair type from generations of various mixtures, so my hair doesn't get unusually tangled or kinky for me to have to comb it.
Plus I've recently shaved it all off (no I'm not in the miltary, neither am I ever going to be), but I do have a military style hair cut. So after washing my face, brushing teeth, fully dressed, I'm ready to go out the house and face the rest of the world. I love not having to take the extra time to ensure that I don't have that pillow type hair as well.

I would have to say no. The only time I really comb my hair is when I go somewhere. But the only time I would comb my hair at home is after taking a shower my hair can get pretty messy when im at home all day long and if I dont have to go out I wouldnt comb it all day lol.

When i cut my hair i cut it real short so that i don't have to worry about maintaining my hair ... so it will stay in place even if i don't comb.

I am the same way, I usually just throw mine into a pony tail if I am home all day. I do brush my hair when I get up and before going to bed every day out of habit. but don't mess with it when I am staying at home and not going anywhere. Isn't that the pits when someone comes over unexpectedly or there is a knock on the door. I just figure that'll teach em for not letting me know! :-)

Oh I hate surprise visits too! I usually will shower/do my hair, makeup everything before I leave the house. I usually don't get in shower till before I leave. So if I'm not going anywhere I'm lazy and stay in my p.j.s and don't use the comb, just pull back hair very messy. I had someone stop by the other day I didn't know they were coming and I was sooo embaressed!! I looked like I got ran over by a frieght train. I don't know how many times I said I need to go shower while she was here, I also kept saying today is lazy day. I look like crap and so on. I think she got the point I wasn't comfortable with her there when I look like crap. She didn't stay long:)

in home i dont mind combing the reason is that we are in the focus of others so taht u want make good impression among them, normally in house people behave on their own. all the personality counts once the person moving out of his / her house
