I love vc andrews books the best book that she wrote was the flowere in the attic series that is her number one book but i have always wondered if she was from a family of incest being that all her books deal with it i have heard that most of the time writers wrtie about what they know about i dont know how true that is but that makes you wonder i have not read any one of her books that dont deal with that my question is this do you think that she was a victim of incest im not trying to be funny i know that she has passed (rip) but i have always wanted to know the answer to that ooh and another thing the book are not all that great since her daughter took over so i have stopped reading them

I read some of the Flowers in the Attic series. I liked the first book but could not finish the series because the incest aspect got me down after a while. My sister loves vc andrews and devours everything she has ever written. Like you, she does not like the books that her daughter took over. I believe that I once read somewhere she was in fact a victim of incest, but I don't remember much more about what I read.

Im glad that their are other that feel that the book aint the same since the daughter took over and thank you for that little piece of information about the incest i think i will have to look that up

I love her books too and the Flowers series was really good. I wonder that too...She did have incest in her books very often so it is possible. I think i'll try and research that now.
