Is it really worth spending time on websites like mylot

I dont know anything about other sites. But as far as my concern I love being in and with mylot. Its not the matter that I could earn something by posting comments, opinions etc. but there are people to hear you and respond you. Thats why I love Mylot

I think is worth it for someone who just go on-line and watch movies or do researches on things that are not really important.making a little from mylot and other forums can come as handy because then you might pay half of the internet bill you usually pay at the end of the month or pay half of the electricity you normally pay

Depends totally on whether you enjoy interacting with people or just want to earn money. Payout at mylot is $10 and sometimes it takes me two or more months to reach it. And then $10 is nothing…in Indian terms Rs. 500 would not really pay much of my bills. Also there are other problems like this being an American site and me in India where paypal does not recognize all Indian banks. So I have never seen any real cash in my two years at mylot. I have done some online shopping but most Indian online sites don’t recognize paypal. So in terms of earning, these foreign sites are not much help but I am here only because I enjoy interacting with so many different people and it now like a hobby to me.

I enjoy being in mylot but unfortunately I am not able to receive payment in mylot. It started to pay only via PayPal, so it is not possible for me to earn from MyLot. PayPal is useless in our country. So I post very little here, I am mostly read the news from mylotters here.

hi, this might be too unrealistic to say, but even without the money that they say you earn from mylot, i enjoy it nevertheless because of the many ideas and opinions that I pick up everyday. It tends to be a waste of time, though but that is if you look at it in a financial manner.

I feel that websites like mylot if its really worth spending time on will depends on the objective of you accessing to such website. For income, the amount of money coming in is slow and little. Therefore, it is not worth to spend on mylot. You can try other websites, where there are more money coming in. Some people access to mylot is to express their views, get advices or to their improve English. It will be a very good website as there are many discussions and there are many people actively posting great responses.

facebook is a lot of work for just a few pennies. i have a real, outside of my house job but come on mylot to relax after work and usually it takes me a few months to make payout. this is the extra money that i use to by stuff on ebay.

If you just want to earn money from Mylot. I am afraid it is not the best choice as the earning isn't much. But you have to post a lot so that you can earn it. In this aspect it is not worth. On the other hand, you can make good friends all over the world and you can share each other's views. This is a happy feeling which money can't buy it. I love China

A little money is better than no money. The biggest factor you should take into consideration is if you can make more money doing something else for the same amount of time. I personally don't take time into consideration and post when I see something interesting or when I am bored. I don't consider this a job but a little something to do in my free time. I think it depends a great deal on if this little bit of money is necessary in the overall scheme of things or if your time and effort could be spent better elsewhere. In this economy, every little bit helps.

i think that by the time you will get used to mylot and you will enjoy staying here, you just need to Focus at get a knowledge and share what you know and not at the money side... that's all what i can say about this.

if you go just for the money or incentives that mylot is offering, it maybe not worth it but if you are here to enjoy, chill, or simply to learn some information, mylot is worth your time. I think it depends on the person.

I think if you only spend a couple minutes in here, it might not be worth it for you, but if you spend some time to make some friends, talk about things, even if you don't make a ton of money, it's still worth it spiritually, you know? it's a good group of people in here so far, we'll see how it goes. But just like in life off the web - you get what you give....so make your stay enjoyable to others, and you'll have a good time too.

thinking about the electricity bills and time spending, with the money i get from mylot, its not so worthful. But, from mylot, i get a lot of information and knowledge, as well as friends. i manage to read through many postings that are benificial to myself. so, mylot keeps me coming to her, and explore herself (if you get what i mean). although there are some crap postings, but i think its common in any forum/discussion board. plus, we still get money in mylot, rather than we post any topics in website that dont pay us out. so, keep yourself to mylot! :)

It depends on what your goal is. If you want to earn money this site is slim pickings. If you want to make friends, find all kinds of information, get advice get support when you are feeling low, share traditions and have fun this is an excellent site. You have to observe a few rule though. Be polite, make your answers meaningful, at least 3 lines long and of quality and do no bash. What should you do in your situation? Find out your goals and if income is mportant check out other sites, but do not pay anything to join any program, at least not in the beginning until you have a healthy balance in your paypal account.

You can do all this if you are not the prime bread winner in your family because the payment here is pretty slow, and if you ahev a family to support, then it is going to be very taxing and you will really get frustrated.

If money is your top priority then mylot isn't the best money making machine site for you.. honestly, i was after the money before but after staying here for a month or two, i've learned to love mylot.. responding to interesting discussions has always been fun as you can get to freely share your ideas with other mylotters..

Sometimes it is worth it, sometimes it isn't. It depends on what you're looking for. MyLot isn't going to pay for your credit card, or house mortgage, and it probably won't even buy you a good cup of coffee at this point in our economy. But, it's still nice to know that there are interesting people and interesting discussions, and hey, everyone wants to put in their two cents.. just with MyLot, you receive one of those cents!

Well.. I only get on internet just for making downloads.. And the time that I'm downloading something I got nothing to do, so I think that's great for me to be in mylot and others websites, Because is where I can spend my time and I get paid for that. What do I got to loose?

well it is worth if you are spending good time on it, but it is real not fake, that the bottom line, so many fake sites a there
