Have you got all gifts yet?

I have not brought anything yet. I always wait until the last paycheck of the year. I have taken a vacation day on payday so I will start then. I have decided that I will not be buying a lot of gifts. I will get a few and then I will give money as a gift, that way they can buy what they want to or pay a bill.

Hi Dieorfly, I've not got everything yet; fortunately the most difficult ones are done, like my brother and brother-in-law - they wanted books (even have the title in mind). So I've got them vouchers from the bookstores. The gifts for my sister, her little kids and my hubby - I'm still hunting. The problem is, they don't have anything specific they want; so I've to look for appropriate gifts. And there are only 13 days left! So happy shopping!

Because of financial problems we are not buying many gifts this year. But, I have it all done except on last thing. I have to buy a gift card this weekend to mail to my daughter for my grandson's Christmas. It's easier to buy a gift card than to buy and mail the gift, especially when I don't know for sure what he already has. She will use it, then wrap it, and put "from Grammy and Grandpa" on it. It can be really hard buying for others, just make out a list before you go, that way you know who and an idea of what you are going to get each person.

I'm all done with my shopping. Now all I have to do is my baking cookies. The one thing I hate about getting it done early is the excitement of all the hustle and bustle in the stores closer to Christmas. But, because of some physical problems I wasn't able to do all that shopping this year so we did most of it online.
