Math or Science, which one?!

I actually enjoy both of them, but I am much better at Math. I have always been very good with numbers and remembering them. With Math, it just seems to come naturally to me. Now, Science I find interesting. I like to learn how things work.

Math math math! or Maths! as we call it here in the UK :) Mathematics is the purest of all subjects. Breakthoughs in science are amazing, but they wouldn't be possible without mathematics. There is a certain beauty and elegance to maths. A scientific theory can never really be proven. You can only demonstrate the theory's consistency among all the data you've tested it with. If you test a theory 1 million times, you can't be sure it wouldn't have a different outcome, for the 1 millionth and first time, or that there is some value that you tested or some condition that causes the theory to fail. When a mathematical theory is proved, it can never be disproven. It will remain true until the end of time. Both are great subjects though. Science gives mathematics meaning, and mathematisc gives science ability :)

When I was at school I hated Maths and I hated Science so much that I asked the head teacher if I could change from Science to another subject. The timetable showed that RE was an option so I did that instead of Science. My favorite subjects were English, History and RE. My 13 year old son is great at Maths and Science and loves both of them. So he is totally different to me.

I like both. You need one for the other.
