Four days ago I got this E-mail from AlertPay: Hello, Thank you for contacting AlertPay Customer Support. I am happy to assist you. Your payment has already been reversed. Please check your account. ---------------------------------- Thank you for choosing AlertPay! If you have any additional questions, don't forget to consult our FAQs at www.helpdesk.alertpay.com! Oggy Customer Support 514-748-5774 www.alertpay.com "My Way to Pay" This is actually the money I payed Smithbux for renting referrals. Just a reminder, this site is scam don't invest your money there!!Most of my friends knows about how I did this but here is a link to the discussion about the e-mail I got from Alertpay: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1797384.aspx. You should get a similar e-mail from them just be sure to update the ticket every once in a while so that AlertPay knows that you really want to get your money back. It took me a month before I got it, but still, I GOT IT BACK and I can still use it to invest with other sites! If the sandra clicks site won't go back up until next week, I will also file a transaction dispute against them. I hope this helps people who got scammed by any PTC site. Happy posting everybody!

Frogress? I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with that program. I tried to do a search and I see that it's an HYIP program. If you payed through PayPal it's much easier to file a dispute. If it's through AlertPay I suggest that you try to contact the admin of the site again and before to post it in the forums and try to contact them directly. If you don't receive any reply I suggest that you save screen shots of your forum posts. Then go alertpay's site. Here's the direct link for creating a ticket in AlertPay - https://helpdesk.alertpay.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit. Choose Transaction Dispute then just follow the on-screen instructions.

The site is SmithBux. I mentioned that in my discussion, by the way *grins widely*. First I tried to contact SmithBux because AlertPay is gonna ask if you were able to contact them. So I did, but then I didn't get any reply from them at all. I even did screen shots of my forum posts so I have proof and sent it to AlertPay. You just have to go their site and open a ticket and choose "Transaction Dispute."

I have no idea if they disappeared and I don't even care. I invested $5 in that site and I never got my referrals at all. I posted a complain in their forum but they never responded at all. They responded to the ticket only once with merely, one line saying " What's the problem?." Take note, he replied on the 10th day! Which is the expiry of the ticket supposedly if he doesn't reply. He obviously knows what's the problem but I repeated it to him because he's apparently ignorant about the issue. I'm sorry but Smithbux is a scam no doubt about and I proved it to myself.

wow!! That's great!! too bad I paid occupex referrals using paypal. They cannot do anything about it! I tried asking occupex a few times and I posted in the forums and I also told paypal about it. But paypal won't help!! eargh!! I wish that alertpay verified me already!! I've sent everything they wanted but they're not verifying me and asked for me to get clearer pictures!! ARGH!!

Probably because you received the referrals but they are just not active. In my case, I never received my referrals at all. Are you PayPal verified? Or is Occupex PayPal verified? If they are PayPal verified then you be protected with the rules of PayPal against merchants like this.

wow, great for you. if we can do this then it will be great. this will make sure those sites would not get away so easily. it would be even better if their account get freeze with their money inside it. I hope more members would do it if they had invested money into their sites

Cheers! for winning the battle. Luckily though I am not one of them, the news certainly gives a sense of relief that those sites who are taking money and scmming other people are not getting free. It saves the innocent people who want to make some extra money in a legitimate way by investing their talent and time and investing hard earned money and also is beneficial for the sites which are not scam and does not want to cheat others.

That is really great that you can claim it back. Most of it really does not do anything good if the owner of the account was already closed and Alertpay could not get any amount from it too.

Good for you! This does not happen too much. Do you really think that everyone who'll fill in a complain will get their money back? I wish - but I'm pretty skeptical. Once the money are gone, that's it-you don't see them back. But hey! You got it - you're lucky!

hi Yuna..can u explain it to me how did u get that refunded payment ? did u report that they're a scam n the alertpay sent the money back to u themself or wat ? btw i have another story bout sth similar like this..its about my-data-team.com. ive just refunded my membership fee there, i was their member. just an information, important information actually..my-data-team.com is not a scam at all, it just didnt work for me but maybe it will work for US citizens. they already refunded my membership fee, exactly one day after i sent them my refund email. they really made it easy for me, i believe that they're not a scam at all. its a good site, ive learnt n got many things from them, but it just didnt work out well for me to earning money online..

Good to know that you got your money back. It's pretty long process to get your money back from this scam site but it would be a warning to these sites that people are wiser from their schemes and will not tolerate to be scam. I'm glad that Alertpay do really take things seriously. This post are really helpful to fight these scam sites and to at least knowledge people that they can get back there money.
