Well, some of my favorites from childhood, and still are some of my favorites still today are The Flinstones, and The Jetsons. Actually I miss not being able to see these on TV as well, and wish there was a way to catch these somewhere again. Or find these on DVD as well.

I've been trying to think of what cartoons I used to watch. I think Bugs bunny was a big one for me. And ofcourse tom and jerry. My mom told me I used to like some cartoon called thunder cats but I don't remember it at all. I still like to watch cartoons sometimes too.

wow. i liked tom & jerry as well. and i still love it. the episodes have been COMPLETELY etched in my brain, but even then it fun to re-watch each and every episode. other than tom & jerry, i liked duck tales and mickey mouse cartoons. the 80s mickey mouse and co's cartoons were so much fun as well, but now the new ones aren't that good. they have lost the touch.

hello there caskins! =) in my case, my most favourite cartoon characters were Garfield and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Both were so much fun to watch and can even teach children a lot of values. Garfield teaches friendship, loyalty and even watching your weight (Garfield hated a certain talking weighing scale). TMNT teaches teamwork, loyalty, family and that good always triumphs over evil.
Sorry if I kinda sounded corny. Hahahaha. Now, back to the fun part. I like those two because I also like the colours and the coolness of those cartoons. I recall the time when Garfield was aired here at around 4:30pm from Mondays until Fridays, perfect timing since i arrive ar 4:15pm from school. Then, TMNT would be every Fridays at 7:00pm, which was a perfect way to start a nice weekend =)
Thanks and more power to you! =)

I absolutely loved Scooby Doo when I was a kid. I watched it even up into my pre-teen/early teenage years. My grandmother would watch it with me whenever I stayed at her house with her. If she was watching something else, I always made her change the channel when Scooby Doo came one. I pretty much had my television in my bedroom permanently set to the Cartoon Network channel. haha.
