I think that the Nintendo Wii is amazing. I think it is an ultimate step forward in censor technology. I find it a ton of fun to move the cursor on the screen, jab forward, sway from side to side, and ultimately a ton of other movements. I also like the games on the Wii. I find it fun to be able to get up and play some games. Plus, I like the wi-fi connection and the extra things. The extra things referring to Mii channel, photo channel, and shop channel.
What do you think about the Nintendo Wii though? Is it an amazing step forward or five steps back? Are the graphics good or not? Are the games good? Is it used to its full potential? Ultimately, do you find the Nintendo Wii fun and enjoyable? Thanks for all of the responses in advance. Happy Mylotting.

I don't own one, but I haven't really honestly become a fan of it yet. I don't enjoy the cursor and waiting for it to finally appear on screen. I feel as though it lags too much. But that is just my own opinion; I'm sure it has plenty of great qualities I just haven't come across one that appeals to me.

Maybe it is the brand of television or even possibly the Wii you have seen has some kind of defect. Maybe it just seems to you that it is lagging. Or maybe just for me it seems that it is not.

Really, it doesn't lag for me at all and the censor is detected almost instantly for me. Maybe there is a problem with the one you have seen. Maybe a defect or the censor bar wasn't properally attached. Certain televisions make it lag also.

i have the wii and I abosolutely love it. it's definitely the most revolutionary game system I've ever used, and I know if more people played it they would really be amazed at how it takes your gaming interaction to a whole new level. I think it does have pretty good graphics as far as I can tell, though I have yet to play any super heavily graphic intense games yet. I really want to try out the wii fit because it looks super fun. I have so many games I want to check out... I just need to find a good cheap source for maybe renting the games.
Oh and also speaking of the extras I REALLY really love the way you can hook your tv up to the internet for just a one time fee of 5 bucks, that is the coolest thing ever. Watching youtube on tv RULES! lol. Another thing that's great is being able to go and buy all the old school nintendo games - me and my boyfriend has so much fun playing all those classic 32-bit games. I can't wait till they come out with some more original classic nintendo titles - video game geekyness FTFW!

The Wii is truly amazing. As for the Wii Fit, I have it and it is a ton of fun, but does get boring after a while. I think that the Wii Fit is sort of overrated. I also like the classic games an love the internet thing. If only they would make it Firefox instead of Opera and make it capable of higher flash and online games and stuff. Thanks for the comment.

oh i totally agree the flash thing is a real drag - it sure would be nice if they could add more browser functionality somehow.
...and im not too surprised to hear that about the wii fit either. i still think ill give it a fair shot and try it out sometime if i have the chance, of course hehe.

Me too. I have the fitness game and love it. I would advise anyone to get a Wii. It is truly a ton of fun. I hope you do one day get one. It also make me wonder what will be next. Maybe some type of censor shoe, so you can walk in games.

i dont really like it all too much. i mean sure its fun for the first few months, but when youre and active student who has to keep their grades up to AB honer roll, who really has the time? sure its fun but way to time consuming in my opinion.

It's a really good game console. I really enjoy playing Wii sports and other games that have you move around. After a while though, it gets a bit boring. Sure it's fun to challenge other people on the Wii but after a while, the games just seem to get repetitive. I'm an avid gamer and I think the Wii is lacking more exciting games with more variety. It's just my opinion but I thing the Wii is still a great console.

The wii has the potential to be great its just the games don't use its features enough.

I really love the Wii's revolutionary new system of play, but I think it's really not a gaming console, just more of a 'fun' thing. Hardcore gamers can't enjoy gaming with graphics like that and all. That's pretty much why I didn't get one; I enjoy serious gaming. Sure it's good to have a bit of casual fun once in a while, but you can't get a first-person shooter to go as right as it would on an Xbox/PS on a Wii.
But yes, ultimately, Wii is awesome for a good bit of fun.

Yes, it is making the video games a lot more fun I think. Plus it gets you moving. I knowit doesn't have good graphics, but I don't care about graphics at all. It makes no difference to me and how I enjoy it. Thanks for replying.

I think the Wii is a waste of three hundred dollars. The way I see it, it's just a three hundred dollar PS2, and yes before any Wii enthusiasts go on the offensive here, I have played the Wii. I'm just not impressed. Honestly, the Game Cube was a better machine. Bells and whisltes don't make a good machine, it's performance and game library do. I think for non-hardcore gamers, the Wii is probably a good choice. But for those that love gaming in all aspects, not just video games, PC, PS3, or the 360, are better choices. The only selling point for me would be access to Nintendo's entire game catalogue. The downside to that is that there's these little things called ROMs. So I can just have those games on my PC, for free. Again I'm nt trying to bash the poor thing, I just don't think Nintendo thought this through. They could have kept up in the next-gen race by supplying a more powerful machine and still have included all the little extras. Honestly, I feel like Nintendo is ripping Wii owner's off. But, if you like the system, then great. It really doesn't matter what I think, as long as you enjoy your purchase.

True, I like it. For me though, graphics don't matter at all. With this in mind all I need is good game play, and I think that is certainly given in a new way through the Wii

My brother also has a Nintendo Wii and I play with him and my niece at times. I like it because it is different. Instead of just sitting and pressing buttons, some games will actually require you to stand up and move. My mother also plays the Wii, she loves the bowling game and she is playing it as an act of exercise.

It gets you off the couch, but not quite sure it should be considered exercise.

I like to play the nintendo wii. I couldn't afford it and if I could I wouldn't be able to get it since they are sold out where I live. I do like virtual games that can be downloaded. Too bad the wii hard drive is limited to a couple of games.

I think Nintendo Wii is really very nice, you get to do lots of activities when you are just playing the game. I think it is really better as compared to those computer games where you would just be sitting around and pressing some buttons for the whole day. I think its a very good exercise for kids and adults and i also think its very fund to play. I actually done have one but i think its really fun to have one someday. Im just thinking that the graphics are not the good yet but it is still fun to play. I think someday Nintendo could also make another improved Wii because i think they could still do a lot of improvement to the current technology especially the graphics and add more games to choose from.

Not sure that it is that exercisable. It is still better to take a job or lift weights than to play on the Wii. Not sure about actually losing weight on the Wii, but definitely keeps you active.

My brother and I both had the Nintendo Wii and let me tell you what! It's horrible. I got bored with it within the first few weeks. Granted, it is fun for a month but you will have a thirst to plug in that X Box 360 and go pawn your Nintendo Wii. The other systems are more worth while is what I'm saying.

It's fun to play, but could be improved on. I always what would happened if there was Krav Maga for Wii. Where you could learn Krav Maga on Wii. That would be spectacular but they will need to be able to read inputs from your leg movements. There is the motion capture technology available (used for animations), so maybe that could be used for enhancing the Wii.

I don't have one myself but the commercials make it seem awesome and it's getting more and more tempting to buy one. My one roommate at school has a Wii and they've played it a few times but I haven't really been around when they've played anything. I think it's actually gotten transferred to another room so they play there instead of in our apartment.

I don't actually own a Nntendo Wii just yet. I'm planning to get one in a couple months. As far as rating, I have an Xbox360 and was having a battle between the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii to see which will be my next game system. For me, the Wii wins and that should say something. The PS3 is basically another Xbox360 which is cool, but the Wii takes it to a whole new level. The nunchuck controller is the main thing that puts this system in the winning corner. It makes the interaction between player and game closer than ever before. I have played a couple games on my cousin's Wii. It was awesome. We played bowling, fishing, boxing, baseball, and SuperMario Galaxy. I love it and am going to get it as soon as possible.

Exactly. Most of the new game systems out there are just remakes of the old one that look a little better. The Wii, however, is a completely new thing that is amazing. I too like Super Mario Galaxy and enjoy the Wii Sports especially the bowling. Once on the bowling I bowled a perfect (300) game, it was amazing. Anyway, I also like the boxing. The nunchuck makes it a lot better because then you can use both arms. The boxing is fun to through different punches and move fast. I also like how with the nunchuck you can imitate a running motion.

The nintendo wii is the most family orinated game system that is out there today. The we is great for my kids and they love all the games we have for it. The game i like the most is Call of Duty 5 World at war online.
