hi dev, at first, i thought i'll be sick too, but when i tried it, it helps me much. just try eating light food, one which is easily digested like oats with fruits.

Hi gotetet! Yes in the Philippines, we are being advised to eat before 6pm but a doctor (whose a friend of Oprah) said that we shouldn't take in solids 4 hours before bedtime. So I think the effectiveness really depends upon what time you'll sleep. I sleep at about 2am. I can't stop eating after 6 because I'll be too famished by 11 then.

Kaliyha, Hello.. is that a peace sign? Did you know that Oprah is now obese at more than 200 pounds? Why not focus on the advice of the real nutrition experts rather than listen to the showbiz doctors? A year ago, I was lifting weights and was very big at 210 pounds on my 178 cms frame. I then wanted to seriously train for a series of 42-K marathons so I decided to seek the help of two sports doctors who specialize in cellular nutrition. Dr.Robin Navarro from the Philippines and Dr.Romulo de Villa from Singapore both planned my food intake and, contrary to my expectations, instead of the typical food pyramid that we all study in school, they designed for me an inverted pyramid, high-protein, low-carbohydrates diet. I was told never to fast, nor limit my food intake, and eat whenever I wanted to. They simply selected the typeof foods that I was to ingest. Eleven moons after... I mean, eleven months after, I have become very fit and trim at 165 pounds. Both my tennis game and my performance in marathon improved tremendously. Here's a sample of my daily fare: 1. Six eggs from free-range chickens, soft-boiled or scrambled, for the high amounts of choline and inositol;2. One liter full-cream milk (no low-fat milk, nor soy milk), 3. 200 ml. of whey milk, 4. 1/2 cup of unprocessed cheese (no processed cheese from the grocery), 5. 8 slices of whole-wheat or multigrain brown bread (no white bread), 6. 5 cups of violet-colored mountain rice (no white polished rice), 7. two liters of alkaline water (no coffee, nor cola, nor tea, nor any juices), 8. quarter of a liter of fruit juice freshly squeezed from the fruit, 9. half a kilo of cooked organic fresh vegetables (leafy and solids), 10. half a kilo of raw organic fresh vegetables (blanched or washed), 11. half fistful of fish per meal, 12. half fistful of chicken per meal, 13. half fistful of beef per meal (no pork, nor shrimps, nor any shellfish), 14. one tablespoon of beef liver, 15. 3 tbsp. bone marrow in soup, 16. 5 tsp. pure wild honey (no sugar, nor candy, nor any sweets), 17. pure butter for cooking (no canola oil, nor corn oil, nor sunflower oil). If you think that is a lot of food, it really is not. I am now slim and trim. Bon appetit.

I would love to try something like that. My problem is that my stomach would be growling at night and then I wouldn't be able to get to sleep.

I have tried not to eat after 6PM or sometimes I only eat only salad for dinner but I get hungry before going to bed so I would have some kind of soup. It did not help me lose any weight at all. The only thing that works for me is tea and all you gotta do is drink lots and lots of tea.
