have you ever been attracted to your same gender?

My friend asked me this morning if I've ever been attracted to the same gender. She told me that one of our friend (kat)is having relationship with the same gender which used to be her friend (kats friend). To me she might have confused her feelings to intimacy. I mean I have a friend which I loved talking to because we relate to each other and she so understand me, sometimes I can't wait to see her just so I could share experiences but I never thought of me missing her as someone I have intimacy with. I'm fine with gay marriages. But now that it's happening to my friend it's seems kind of weird, maybe because I never thought she could be into this type of relationship. She might someday come to her senses and this relationship wouldn't last or she might figure out that she doesn't need a man to fill her needs. As for me, whatever will make her happy, I'm still her friend. I wonder if I'll ever get into this type of relationship because who knows!? but, I already have a family so I think its way too impossible for me now. What do you think pushes a person to have relationship with their same gender? What are your experiences on this?
