"Government health advisers recommended restrictions Thursday on some long-acting asthma drugs, although not Advair, a top-selling medication.
Outside experts advising the Food and Drug Administration said Foradil and Serevent no longer should be used for asthma. But they said the benefits of the more widely used Advair and Symbicort clearly outweigh the risks."
i dont think i have been on any of the ones pulled but advair like to have KILLED me!! i was on it for years and kept getting worse and worse after 1 year of being on it and doing great! i thought my asthma was just getting worse but now that i stopped it i went from using my inhaler 6 times a day to like 1 time every couple of WEEKS!!

i made my doctor take me off becuase i could not take the taste of it even after brushing my teeth i could still taste it
Im sorry about your bad experience with advir i hope that you have found a better asthma inhaler
i have flovent now and it seems to work and my sone has symbicort and that helps him

I hope you find a good replacement, it is scary when medications are called back like that.
