I remember, during my school days I used to have a big round alarm clock which used to ring every morning at 6 o'clock to literally throw me out of my bed to go to school. I used to hate that thing & even tried many a times to break the clock. Now I don't use an alarm clock, rather my mobile phone does the job for all the notification. But I still have the clock as a souvenir of the past. I was really wondering if any one of you still use an alarm clock to get up in the morning ??

Yesh! i remember those days! i used to hate the sound of its like a wake up call "riiinnnngggggggg!!" annoying! , but i kinda miss it now because were all using mobile phones to wake up now, I still have one at home and i am still using it , but i dont really use it to ring me up anymore rather as a clock since i have my phone on my side , dont bother setting it anymore , since its fixed in the phone and alarm clock is like you ahev to wait till the night to on it because if you on it on the afternoon it will ring! haha :)

At the age of 20, I admit that I still have the difficulties of waking up all by myself each morning. I do not know why although I used to do waking up early in the morning I still have the hard time of waking up.Good thing my mom is there, she used to be the one who wakes me up but the problem is, I should inform her before going to slep or else, if I forgot to inform her, she will forget to wake me up too.
Good thing, alarm clocks were invented. I used to set it before I sleep so that it will be the one who is incharge of waking me up early in the morning. And you are right, we can now also use our mobile phone to be an alarm clock because cellularphones right now have applications such as alarm clocks.Happy Posting!

i and my hubby still use alarm clock until now even though i always manage to wake up before the alarm clock rings... but just in case... we don't want to be late for work and leave a bad impression to our managers... especially in recession time like this where jobs are really hard to find... take care and have a nice day...

I work from nine to five, before every morning i use a alarm clock to make me awake. but now i don't need a alarm clock, because i form a custom, i usually wake up at 6 o'clock in the morning. I mean i wake within a minute or two of that time, just like my body has an inner clock. Although i don't use an alarm clock now, i think it's very important in our life.

Absolutely we still use the alarm clock, in fact we have two in the bedroom and they go off a few seconds apart, usually at 6 am!
When I was travelling away from home for my work I ould use the alarm function on my mobile phone but I don't like to do that at home.

I use my cell phone's alarm clock because it's loud and annoying (seriously o_o). I used to have an alarm clock when I was younger - not one of the round ones - it was Pickachu playing the trumpet. I got it as a gift and I still consider it one of the most obnoxious alarm clocks ever. Perfect for waking someone up.
I ditched the Pikachu when I got older and relied on my brother's alarm in the next room to wake me. The morning's that I didn't manage to get up, my mom would come and tug at me. Anyways, since my mom doesn't drive me to school anymore, using my cell phone is a lot more convenient for all of us. I'm lucky that I have no problem getting up with it.

We still use our alarm clocks so we can get up for whatever we need to get up for. I have the feeling if I used a telephone to wake me up, I'd sleep right through it.

I usually used alarm clocks when I was still in secondary school. But when I read the book about the infinite power within me,I learned I can still wake up in time even without an alarm clock. It goes like this,Before I go to sleep I would command myself with these words"The infinite power within me will wake me up on time without fail,I believe it is true.I will not be late in my appointment tomorrow"I hope this can help you too. There is no harm in trying.

To be honest, I still have one alarm clock but not a common one, I use my cellphone as an alarm clock. That's not surprise, I am still a student in a college and I should get up early everyday nowadays. But, I don't hate it since get up early is good to one's health according to science. On the country, we may need to thanks the alarm clock. Am I right? Good luck.

hi there uditpanda! i recall the days in school where i had this small yet loud alarm clock. whenever i hear the alarm during weekends, i cringe at the sound. hahahaha. when i got a job, my cellphone does the wakeup alarm for me. the sound of the alarm makes me cringe, since it meant waking up at 5 in the morning to avoid the traffic to work. haha. now that i've resigned from work, i still set my alarm clock at around 9am so that i can still wake up as early as possible. =)
thanks and more power to you! =)
