Head Phones OR External Speakers ???

Hi,uditpanda, First thing that comes to my mind is an external speakers,I just love to listen to music loud.But,everytime you just can't do this.I stay in a hostel with my room-mates.When my room-mates are studying I use my headphone.It is better to use the headphone when they are sleeping also,as it may disturb their sleep.It depends on the situation. Have a nice time here.

i am currently using headphones. but if i plan to lay on my bed and i still want to continue listening to music. i plug in my external speakers.

Hi..I both used headphones and speakers...but it depends on how i want to listen music or watch videos on my computer...if i wanted to listen(musics) or watched videos away from my computers, i often used speakers..then i just only used headphones if played music or videos while I'm doin something on my computer...

i use headphone mostly...i use microphone...that's why i need it...i use soundbox..when i use to see movies.....

Well, i have both, headphones and external speakers. I prefer the external speakers, as I have 5.1 and they puch out quite good amount of base and sound quality. The headphones are not capable of giving good quality of sound.

I use external speakers because using headphones pains me a lot i get pain on ears and i can't bear that pain no more because its and different problem on my head phones and my ears so i use speakers and with speakers i get nice qualiy of sound so i always prefer speakers only

Hi, Its funny though, because at the moment I have headphone and listening of Bon Jovi's music, lol. We do have both, but if was just me watching movie or listening to music and don't have to share it with my husband, I use headphone, for me its sounds better. Thanks.

for the brains, i have heard that speakers are cool. they are far from the ears and so harm less. but while playing counter strike and project igi, you need to be very precise about the sound movements, the footsteps. there i think, headphones are essential.

I used to use the external speaker espeically when I was playing computer games. The sound effect rocked. But my parents can't stand its noise. So I bought a sennheiser HD 202 eraphone, so I could enjoy listening music and playing games whenever I want. There is another advantage of using a earphone. Its cheaper price with high sound quality. As we know excellent external speaker is very expensive, but the same level earphone is much cheaper. What do you say, buddy.
