I never liked maths much at school, to be honest. I've always been better with letters than with numbers. However, when I first heard of sudokus, i thought it'd be a good chance to exercise my rusty mind.
But i think i've proven myself nable to complete them. I have tried and tried, but nothing lol. Do you like sudokus? do you find it easy to complete them? any tips on how you can do them?

Hi, why didn't you like maths? It is an interesting subject!
You want to play sudoku I think you will need some learning first before you go tackling that game!
Tip: I suggest you go to www.instructables.com/id/Solve-Sudoku-Without-even-thinking!
It is a challenging game!

Well when i also started with sudoku i coudnt understand the concept and tried by guessing the numbers.later realised there is a logic to it and now am quite good at it.there are many types of sudokus but the most popular is classic sudoku.first see the rows and columns which have the most filled up numbers.there is no trick and no special mathematical skills required.the fundamental is no row, column or the box of 3 x 3 within a 9 x 9 sudoku should contain all digits from 1 to 9 with no repetitions.suppose you have 4 digits in a row like 2,5,6,9 so in that particular row the remaining digits will come.like this go filling the blanks, after some tries you will get to it.because i strongly believe that we dont know the things which we either dont want to or we never try for that.please keep me updated if you succeed.

My friend use to play it really well. But, till today I still don't understand why people are really mad about it and spend hours doing that. I don't get anything of it.

Well, they do have certain patterns to be going about. It's not that you've to be a maths expert in order to solve them. If you can be good at Scrabble or the crossword, you can also be good at Sudoku. It's basically the recognition of patterns. As you can see, some numbers are given at the beginning of the game. Those are your starting points. Mentally, you pick up each number and block out the row, column and the 3 by 3 square in which it resides. Search for the same number somewhere else on the grid and do the same for it, too. Now look for the squares in which the blocked rows and columns intersect and in which your chosen number isn't present. If you find that only one box is left in that square, undoubtedly, it's the one in which the number shall go. Also, another strategy to be applied is to take individual rows, columns or squares and think of the numbers which are yet to be put in them to complete that particular row, square or column. Now apply the constraints to each of the places in turn, and you may steadily find some of the places in which only one number can fit. There's really no serious mathematical calculations needed for this game.
