A tradition we still have to this day, is we get new pajamas on Christmas Eve. Nothing fancy, just something that means a lot to my sisters and myself.
Something fun Mom and Dad did when we were growing up - in order to prevent us from snooping into presents, they assigned each of us a number for Christmas (different every year). They would then label the gift "To: #3" or "To: #4"
This just made us all that much more excited because it's even more secretive!
