What is your weather like in your area?

It is quite cold and slippery. I am 65, so I cannot do much to help my neighbors who are younger then us, and I am the type who thinks that I can do it all myself. I will need help later on, when my husband can no longer get his driver's license (he had a stroke, and has arthritis) but I would not like to put anyone out, so I will go on the day they go shopping. But it is nice to know that if anything is wrong, that you are there to help. You are certainly a nice young person.

we have a tropical weather here. Mostly we have a hot weather and rain. We don't have snow and ice but in regards to your question in helping others. Yes we do help most of the time. It is already part of our culture. Although in years passed by i could say that there are some changes, yet still i could say that helping others still remain.

hi my dear friend, my weather at the place where i am born and brought up is cool. its never too hot. it is cold and i love that climate. but now the place where i live after getting married is not at all of my taste. it is moderate. as the climate is known, but i dont feel any moderate. i feel its hot because i come from a cold climate area so i feel this hotness also not moserate but hot. people here say that its not hot, its ok, moderate . my place is hilly and basically where my house is , its a valley. so its a cool place to live in. but here i dont like at all. my skin is all burnt. its all tan. no much rains also. i love rains and snow.people here dont even know the feel of snow here.its amazing, but in comparision i love the climate of my place rather than this.

On the place where I live, the whether isn't that bad, it quite temperate if I do say so myself. It is quite medium type of climate, neither too cold nor too hot. It doesn't snow here, well sometimes like around once in a 60 years hehe, two years ago it snowed in my city. But normally it doesn't snow here so it isn't much like a bad climate. But you can;t expect this city to be hot either, in summer times, it is normal and you do feel cold after you bath even in the summer time.

My husband use to plow snow in the winter and he use to allways plow are street up and down that way everyone on our street could get out even if the city hadnt made it there yet.

The weather here is COLD. It is icy, and has been icy and snowy since Saturday, and not getting ready to improve anytime soon, so the roads have been interesting when it gets later at night. My husband works for a Retirement home and is a driver there, so he helps out there, but we do not have any older people living by us that we would have to help. It is slick out here though, and not supposed to end anytime soon either.

Hi! Today, we are expecting ice. Where I live, we really don't have a lot of extremely cold weather and we might get snow or ice once a year. Normally, it is ice and not snow. The rain freezes when a cold front comes in. I do hope that the weather predictions are wrong because I have a lot to get out and do this week --and driving on ice is not my idea of fun! I have an elderly next door neighbor and I will call her if it gets bad. Since I don't typically drive in bad weather, I won't got out unless it is something that we really need. If her driveway needs to be salted I will definitely do that.

We are not really close to a lot of our neighbors except for the ones right next door to us and we help them if they need it. The weather is cold today and could be 70 on another day. It is always like that here.

It's cold and cloudy here. The kind of day that makes me sleepy and dreary like with no energy. I don't know why it does that to me but it sure does. It's suppose to rain here tomorrow which I pray that it doesn't for we'd so love to finish some of the projects we've started but mother nature has her say regardless of how I feel. lol We don't have elderly neighbors although I wish we did because they're interesting to talk to. At the moment we have one nice neighbor and one hateful neighbor that we just associate ourselves with.

It is snowing and the wind is blowing and the wind chills are 20 below zero right now. We help out others when we can my neighbors have a snowblower and they use it on everyones sidwalks to help out. I don't really have any elderly neighbors otherwise yes I would help.

Well yesterday it was in the 70s here, and I was even able to sleep with the windows open last night. But this morning a cold front blew in and now its only 48 outside. So I hurried and shut the windows and turned on the heat. I swear, the weather is so strange here in Texas this time of year. Its been a nice place to "visit" while I've been here 3 1/2 years but I can't wait to get moved back north to where it feels more like home!

Hot, hot, hot. Here where I live it´s summer the whole year. Temperatures always above 25 Celsius. Sun shines all the time, we almost never have rain. Here in Brazil people are used to help each other. We have been having big storms in the south here and lots of people lost their home so we are making lots of campaigns to help them.

here its pretty cool, winters here. Its time to stay indoors, else when you go out wear warm stuff and then go.

the weather here is very unpredictable... it can get hot, cold, rain, sunny and windy in one day... that's why it is very hard to decide what type of clothes to wear here... i wear the wrong type of clothes many times in the past... when i think the weather will be hot, it turns out to be cold and vice versa... so now what i do is i always bring my sweater or jumper wherever i go... take care and have a nice day...

i am a chinese ,now my live county's weather has exchange all the time.sometimes is cold and sometimes is warm,is hard to say it.through the weathe is hard, i like my county all the time.through i have not see others in bad weather,i think i will help others when the wearther is bad.

We live in a tropical country. We have hot or summer seasons, rainy season, cold season and southwest monsoon. We also suffer from storms and everytime it happens, the government and the citizens in our country are joining hand in hand in helping the victims, we help them in every best we can.
