I really like watching AnkhSunamun (I think the spelling is wrong but I hope you know which one I mean) in The Mummy
if only she didn't kill the Pharaoh, she would have been Queen, ruling a wealthy kingdom and thousands of slaves under her command yet she chose to die for her love. actually not love, because in the end of The Mummy II she left the priest to die alone. if only she helped this priest, they would've made a come back as the villain couple
I'd like to play her but I would still marry the Pharaoh and be Queen. that's when my villainnes will begin.

oh yeah I forgot that she was the mistress
she could've been Queen lol she had the Pharaoh's heart
she had the ambition but didn't aim high enough
if I were to play her role I would do it differently

HI! Pola!
If I am given a chance to act in a movie, it will not matter to me even if the role is of Villain. If I can act and I have talent, I'll show case my talent even in the role of a Villain. I will have to play the character in the movie, irrespective of the fact, how I am in the real life.
LOL! Are you going to help me get a role in a movie...........!!

i don't think being a villain is a bad thing. for example the last movies i saw is batman the dark knight. joker did great on the film. im actually watching more of joker than of batman. its in the way portray the character that matters

i think, based on my character, i could portray joker better than batman. i didn't say i could outdo the great acting done in the movie, but i could express a lot more acting skills with the character rather than batman. batman is stiff and have to be formal all the time. but joker displays a lot of personality in just one shot. that's awesome.

I believe I would have to pick cat woman because she is playfully sinfull. And I like to have fun in all that I do in life. One of my goodfriends suffers from severe depression and when she starts in about the depression I always tell her its ok just have fun with it.

susan sarandon on enchanted, tia carrere on true lies, and maggie q. on die hard. wow i need to lose a lot of weight to portray their roles lol. . but i like such cool women when they play villain and they are so effective with the role that you want to twist their necks. how about you pola who do you want to play?

Hey I learned how women are supposed to act from Julie Newmar playing Catwoman! She is still fantastic but I'd have killed (well maybe hurt somebody real bad) for that body in her heyday! Alas it's hard to be statuesque when you're only 5'2". Her legs are longer than I am tall.

You will hear many profesional actors say that they prefer to play the role of the villain because the part and character is more challenging than the good guy!
I think I ould tend to agree with this viewpoint as it seems the bad guys get the best parts and the best lines in the films.
Take the recent Batman film, Dark Knight.
The Joker got all the best jokes! LOL!

Hello polachicago. I think I can play the sadaku in "the ring". She is a young girl who got killed and now is seeking revenge by killing people who saw the tape. I think the role and the face would fit me because I am small and i have long black hair.

If I was to play a villain it would have to be someone that was really hardcore and everybody hated or something. I'm not sure which role that I could show of all my talents, I would probably want to make up my own character because I'm not sure if anybody else' character could fit me perfectly. Of course in my movie the villain would win for a change.

I like to play the Villain because the capacity fo the hero depends on the villian and moreover villian wins win all the time and only loosess at the time of the climax but hero wins only at the climax

Funny this discussion goes up after talking to a certain somebody on the phone. Whether it's acting on a TV show, movie, or even a broadway play, there is usually the main star, at times, along with a co-star or two or more as partner(s) or sidekick(s), & then the villan, along with whatever partners or sidekicks, if any.
Anyway, a while back, we had a conversation about Greek actors, & as a joke, he said that the names that I came up with made made Greeks look bad. One that was often known to play villans is Andreas Katsulas (Romulan captain in Star Trek: The Next Generation & G'Kar in Babylon 5). Another one was John Colicos. Even though he's considered Canadian, the friend said that it was a Greek name. He had a recurring role as a Klingon named Kor in two incarnations of Star Trek, as well as Baltar in the 1978-1979 version of Battlestar Galactica.
Anyway, playing a villan is a large part. As my friend pointed out, most of these actors are good, kind people, & that makes a villan one of the hardest roles to play. What makes it difficult is showing that streak of evil that most good people do not have, & making the character look evilly real (or is it real evil?).
I have not tried acting, so it would be hard for me to judge what I would be good in, or not good in. This much I know. Unless I was playing a character that had the same, or at least similar, qualities as me, it can get difficult.

From what I have heard, he was also one of the nicest guys that you could meet. I guess with that personality of his, & what he almost always portrayed in his performances were two entirely different things. Even then, I have also heard that it is easier to be evil & sinister when you're not than vice versa.

The first thing that comes to mind (unfortunately...) is the role of the Joker played by Heath Ledger in "The Dark Knight". Many many years from now we will be talking about the man who had a career performance and then by a freak of accidentalism ended up dying.
The way he portrayed a bad guy that you could be empethetic with was just amazing. In contrast, the whole movie of "The Watchmen" was kinda about the same thing but did a horrible job.
Thanks
Zelo

I guess a lot of people think Robin Hood was a villian even though many agree with his principals. I would love to take from the rich to give to the poor, so Robin Hood for me. I can't think of others.
In Australia, Ned Kelly is considered a villian, but he's a folk hero, and has been played in films by Mick Jagger, and Heath Ledger, but he also shot and killed my great grandfather, so he's out. I can't think of any others.

I don't think I could play a pert where I have to kill my own flesh and blood, so maybe another role played be Heath Ledger, The Joker, I think I would enjoy outsmarting Batman!

Boy that would be a hard choice. I've done some little theater in the past and I always like the odd parts. I always enjoyed playing the villains. Lady Macbeth is a good one. The Glenn Close part in Fatal Attraction is also a good one. Even on the tv soaps I like the villainous women better. LOL!

Hmmm, I think it would be fun to play the villain in a movie. It is acting after all. I think it is probably a meatier role than playing the good guy all the time. I think playing Cruela De Ville in 101 Dalmations would be fun. Or the Meryl Streep role in The Devil Wears Prada. I think it would actually be fun!
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

well this one was very hard since i can not see myself doing really nasty things to my fellow humans. but if you mean how I WISH I could be it would be Monster in law, like Jane Fonda played in that movie. since i've had a bit of trouble with sons gf of late.but she knows how to butter me up and feel sorry for her.
