Cash or Card ??

Which is your preferred mpde of payment-cash or card?
In other words-Are you the type who carry cash in your wallet all the time for emergency or do you exercise safety by carrying credit and debit cards, which can be blocked in case of any misfortunes like theft or robbery.
I personally prefer cards, but also carry a little amount of cash because in many places in my country cards are not accepted.

I prefer card over cash.I carry card only while traveling.Cash is more comfortable for me while shopping.

I must say I agree with you. For major planned purchases I ill always use a credit card as you get extra protection such as insurance and if the goods are faulty you can take it up with the credit card company as well as the upplier.
The secret is to use it as a cah ubstitute only, though or you end up paying extortionate credit rates.
There are many situations such as car parking or buying a cup of coffee where good old cash still rules.
