Wow! I feel so great already after typing it. Anyway, Back then, when we are still kids my fater always remind us that the best gift that he could give us is to have a better education. And Education will lead us to our better future. And we, their childrens are very proud of them as our parents, that they gave us a good education and in fact,we are all graduated in college with a good degree. Our success is their success indeed. What about you? What is your story about education?

Hello there my friend! Yes, education is vital in our life as without education, we are not here right not! My parents emphasise the importance of knowledge to us. Every now and then, my parents would keep telling me to study the right way to get benefits from education. I havent entered university, but I'm doing a foundation program right now. Its a proud and its brought smiles to my parents face when I got good result in SPM (in case you dont know, its the biggest and last examination in high school) as well as getting scholarship to go study abroad. Well, getting benefit from education is the "best gift" I could give them right now and yes, its "lead us to our better future". By the way, nice topic!

Thanks for your comment. I am hoping that I will do better every seconds that are coming. Getting full scholarship has already been a proud for my parents, but if I fail to get to the end, my mother will definitely become sad. p/s - my father is way different from my mother. He will not face my failure with sad or angry emotion. Plus, he told me that he will be satisfied if at least I have done my best.

My parents also think education is very important, and they are always proud of us if we study and behave well. i like what you said "Our success is their success indeed." It's really true, for parents, they really think that way. I also think education is very important, it's not only about knowledge, but about wisdom, characteristic building, communication, etc. It's not only pursuing a paper for degree, but also learning to be a better person.

Yes indeed education is the stepping stone on having a good career and a brighter future but I think it is still depend on the person. nowadays having a good education is not a guarantee of having a better future. There are many college graduates that can't find a decent job so I guessed it will help but not guarantee. When you graduated from college one thing is sure-you have a degree.

I agree with you i some point, but i still believe it the saying if their is a will their is a way. If you really want to find a job you can find one, just dont limit yourself. Explore and discover other things, maybe you are not successful in finding job in related to your degree but you are successful other filled of work. Thanks for sharing.

Well my mother used to study with us everyday, she is still studying with my brother who is still at school. Now I have a kid of my own, and I think I will sure take care of her education, wish that one day she will get a degree. She is still young and she has all her childhood to study. Education is the best investment you can make on children since it is education which reflect their future.

Nothing great really, but as I move on deeper in life, I appreciate the value of quality education like never before. Its not only about the three ‘R’s but something more than that. And no matter how much as a child I hated studies and my parents for making me go thru it, I now feel thankful and privileged for having got a decent education. It makes me comprehend and evaluate a whole lot of things which otherwise would have been beyond my grasp. Its not only about a money earning career, a job but much more than that to me.

That's what my parents thought too. Even if it's hard for them to send us all 6 in school, they strive hard just to send us to college. Now i graduated in college but I can't forget how tough experiences I have while studying just to finish a degree.

Hi, friend! Congratulations to you for your success. It is true that enducation can give us knowledge and skills, which is the key to success. So, we went to elementary school, junior high school, senior high school and college. As most people in my country, I graduated from college. But, I still haven't changed it(good education) into fortune and success. Chance is the same important as capability. And the society is complicated. So, I have to know the rule of the game, which the education in school won't tell you, otherwise you will fail. But, I still have to say thanks to education and my parents. I just don't like the rule of the society.

When i was young, i don't like to go to school. Because it means to have homework and test. I feel unhappy when i was a student. But after graduate from college, i found i'm missing the life in school. I miss my good friend, the teacher and even the test. hehe! But i cann't go back to school now. Why people also found it is precious when we lost it.

Same here, i dont like school too for i feel pressure evryday, homework, study, oral recitition, reporting , study, exam, thesis and all the stuff, the terror teachers,. i hate it. But i realize if i been good at school i could end a good job too. It too late already to go back, i think the best way is not to pass it to our future children and constantly reminding them the value of education. Thanks for the respond.

Education is very important for success. I encouraged my daughter from the time she was very young and it is starting to pay off. She has her Bachelor and Masters Degree and is hoping to persue her Ph.d in the not too distant future. She teaches college at this point and loves what she does. Your father's encouragement is admirable.

IT IS!! Educations means knowledge, and knowledge is power. Well, without that intellect 'power', you'll just succumb to the deepest black pits of this cruel earth... even more so with the retrenchment due to the economic crisis :x Yikes!!

You know, education is your own thing , nobody has the ability to give it to you. You must break your necks to study in the high school in order to get a good life.
