Do you know what the Mercedes Benz Symbol denote? / myLot

its origin is the three points the owner wanted his engines to represent .. water sea and air .. later merged with benz and the laurel around the 3 point star :)

The name of Mercedes came from Emil Jellinek daughter name Mercedes. Emill J. was working with Gottlieb Daimler in racing car production. Brand name Mercedes is today best known via three pointed star symbol wich represent Emill wish to built motors wich cand be used on water, land and fair. Mercedes bens emblem was latter combinet with Benz laurel wreath, Symbol of victory and glory, in 1926.

Hi everybody..The Mercedes amblem actuall has stolen from the Blueu Mosque in Istanbul ,Turkey, this mosque has been built in 17.th century between 1609 1616 .There were many germans in Istanbul during the Ottoamans last years in late 19 th century and during the first World War and many of them stole many things and one of them is the logo of Mercedes amblem,you can check it from the mosques tile and marble work which carries fully with the logo like mercedes logo..that is most beatiful star designed ever in the history tilll now..I hear you say it designates sea air and land it is maybe but they have stole it from the mosgue of Turks..just to let know you that once agagin
