do you watch movies at cinema or at home in front of the computer? single or ~~

hi there leeapollo! i agree with you. i'd like to watch movies at the cinema, but i also find the prices too expensive, so i also tend to watch movies at home with my PC or DVD player. sometimes i watch alone, sometimes i watch with my bestfriend. =) come to think of it, watching movies at home has more advantages that going to the cinema. you spend less since you do not have to pay for petrol or bus/subway/taxi fares and you do not have to fork out cash to pay for tickets. the snacks you grab in your kitchen also costs less than the snacks offered by concession stands. =) not to mention the "calorie savings" since home-made snacks have less calories than processed "cinema snacks". you also have the advantage of not having obnoxious movie-goers that distract you with their yakking, or the glare from their mobile phones when they text, or worse, when you hear an obnoxious loud cellphone ring, and the rude person actually answers the call inside the cinema. i find that so annoying that i feel i do not get my money's worth in a cinema, all because of an uncouth jerk. at least none of that happens when you watch movies at home (especially if you're alone, since you should start freaking out when an unfamiliar ringtone sounds out and somebody actually answers the call even if you're alone! LOL). or even if your friends would send SMS or answer their cellphones, it still feels better and more comfortable since they're your friends and they're not obnoxious strangers. =) thanks and more power to you! =)

I like to watch movies at home with friends. I think it is convenient and cheap for me.lol I did't have much money , so the price is the first concern for me. happy mylotting.

I watch movies at home on my tv. It is to expensive to go to the theater anymore plus the price of pop and popcorn at a theater is outrages. I was renting movies from Netflix but now I just get them out of a video machine for a dollar a day. Works really good and you don't have to pay a monthly subscription then.

pERSONALLY, I preferr watching movies in front of a PC rather than seeing them in a theater, it feels they have a more personal touch.

I prefer watching movies at home by renting them from Blockbuster, but if it's a movie I'm desperate to see and need to watch it when it comes out in theater then I'll go to the theater despite the high prices. It's more fun to watch movies at home because you don't have to worry about strangers being rude and loud during the movie, you can make your own food at home, and you don't have to pay near as much as you do at the movie theater. i love watching movies!!i do not think it is different to watch a good movie at cinem or at home. i just enjoy the story,the spectacles....if i have to choose from two options,i prefer to watch movies at home. i lie on my bed and enjoy it!

I love watching movies on the cinema especially when its a date with my boyfriend. But now that his got a job and his got a busy schedule, we just watch movies online in his place.

I haven't been to the movie theater in a long time. Mostly no I just watch movies at my house or at friends houses.

i usually watch movies in theatre ,becoz watching in theatre will be more effective than watching in computer.if i like the movie very much are if i miss to watch in theatre then i will watch in my system.

That depends on what type of movies that I am watching. I prefer to watch big budget movies with a lot of actions in the cinema together with bunch of friends. Movies that need a lot of thinking... alone in front of my computer. I can watch it over and over to get the senses out of it.
