Would you accept a friend request from a Newbie?

Or would you rather require that this newbie has a certain number of posts first, like a 100 posts perhaps, before you accept a friend request?
I can sense from other mylotters that they would prefer those with 500 or more post.
Is this true? What is your take on this?

Definitely! Newbie, veteran, oldie, whatever. I'll accept everybody's friend request. As the saying goes, "the more, the merrier". And we can never tell, in one way or another, they might actually help us in our earnings.

Hi Ysabel..
I do accept all friends request I saw and all of them are welcome to be my friends. It doesn't matter how many post they already have or how many numbers they got beside their names. I just want to have them all to be my friends. We can continue to help each other here. You too can also be my friend..
Welcome to mylot..

I don't mind at all adding a newbie on my list. I mean in a way it will inspire or motivate them to add new friends and who knows, he/she see some discussions she's much interested in and that's how it works. The more you know, the more chances you'll encounter interesting discussions. Sooner or later this newbie will come up with interesting discussions and it will be another plus on our mylotting experience right?

Yes, definitely yes.
I do not look at the number of post beside the username. I was a newbie myself. And I did look forward to the tips from senior mylotters. I read their posts, I looked for suggestions, I seek for help and if ever its my turn to help the newbies, I would surely do that.
If you need help Ysabel, you can send me a private message anytime. I would surely love to help you with things around mylot!
Happy posting!

Hello Ysabel,
I never cared actually never paid attention of th post numbers to the people who sent me friend request, I wouldn't mind. And i guess having as much as friend is good to find more discussions to discuss, So it doesn't matter for me. Add me if you want i will accept :) Have a good day!

Yes, why not? To me it does not make any difference how many post a user has made before he or she could be my friend. I my opinion, there should be no such criteria when judging your friends.

i don't have any requirements in choosing friends online. it doesn't matter to me at all. i would be glad to accept every friends request as many as possible because come to think of it they can help you with your discussions to gain earnings. so each and every friend request is worthy.

I'd accept friend request from a newbie. I'm a newbie my self. if you'll send me friend request I'll be glad to be your mylot friend. Birds of the same feather! hehe!I'd rather have newbie friends in that case we can relate and we can grow on my lot together but I appreciate and salute to our good, friendly senior mylotters thank you guys for responding and for the ratings!!! I love you all! LOL.

I would not demand anything. Just I would be happy to see him actively participating in the site. Even if it means only 2 posts a day.
I was newbie 3 days ago too. And I am still here, trying this site out at the very best I can. But some newbies quit their participation, and then many people have inactive Friends in their Friendlists, and it is an extra work for the Friend list owner to `clean` it from inactive members.

Thanks for the friend add. I have no problems adding newbies to my list because I am a newbie myself. I don't think it makes a difference how many posts a person has because this site is about making new friends and having great discussions. Don't be afraid to ask for a friend becuause you can never have enough of them!

Yes. I do not look at the number of posts a person has done. I check their profiles out to learn something about them. I do not accept anyone that asks any more. I did that when I was new and I had lots of friends who posted discussions that I was not interested in so I pruned my friends list.
I look for someone who writes interesting discussions, answers my discussions and writes quality posts. If the person who asks to be my friend and the bulk of their posts are in the making money section then I do not accept them. I will accept people who have not answered my discussions but if they never answer any of them and I do not like their discussions then they may not stay friends for long.
A friend should be someone who either answers my discussions or writes discussions that I want to answer. If this does not happen there is no point in staying friends. So I accept newbies but I cannot promise that they will stay friends. I know other people that are much tougher than I am. Some will not let a person become friends unless they have answered a certain number of their discussions.

well when someone invited me to be their friend, the number or posts are not really that important to me. as long as its true to their hearts that they wanted me to be their friends. me i pick those mylotters who got many discussions to choose from so that i could have enough responses to make to them. thats the way i helped my friends out and i also rated them! thanks friend. ...jhelai
