Worst Situation That Happens To You In The Year 2008!!

Well, for the most part I would have to say 2008 has been a Good yr. I cannot really complain for the most part, but there are things I have definately learned and things I have had happen I would not want to happen to the worst of people as well. One of these would have to be a place I owed $$ too. Even though I had one Bill saying I only owed them less than $800, this particular company (Household Finance), decided I still owed them over $4000. When I finally agreed on an amount to have them quit bothering me and ruining my Credit I paid them over $2000. Another one would be putting our place on the Market, and learning afterwards we had chosen a lousy realtor, who never wanted to really work with us, and we had to let them know if anyone looked at our place, and almost call all of the people who had looked at our place to find out the results as well. So when we get ready to put our place on the market again soon, we are going to do more of our homework first and then go from there. Wishing you the Best in 2009.

the year was very bad for me. In February, my father fell ill suddenly and was hospitalized.There were lot of tests and lot of tensions. then again he fell ill. so it was tension again and again. later it was tension with career and all

hi there! the only thing that happened to me worst this year is that feeling and got exhausted at work. but of course not the whole year. this last week of work gave me an almost nervous breakdown due to heavy work at office. goo thing is that we only have 2 days left to a grand vacation. hope this could help and have a nice day!

Oh God,2008,it maybe one of the most unforgettable years in my life,first I caught up the big earthquake in the city of Mianyang,Sichuan Province in China,I think most people should have heard this incident,what a hard time those days is.Fortunately,I survived. And I also graduated in June this year,as the finance crisis it's so hard to get a job,I went to city of Shenzhen alone to search for a job,but a lot of companies and factories closed as impacted by the finance crisis,and I havn't got a job right now,and I have to ask money from my parents for live,and what a terrible thing it is,and there's so many difficult stuffs during the process of searching job.Oh god,I even don't know how long I can hold out in such a situation,It's so hard for me.

there is not one nut innumerable worse situations taken place in 20008, YET i would like to add that such situations have only helped me grow and develop my self and bring out true potentials. i am a student pursuing a course in designing. it is very common to notice that such career fields are infested with shrewd people around. and when it comes to girls you cant escape those green eyed monsters, in ma college in the beginnings of my session the girls were very warm to each other, somehow as days passed by i noticed each ones true colors revealing out. it dint take a long time to realize the fact that i am pursuing professional course, and in such courses tricky people are bound to be around you. it is important to note that when it comes to career, all relationships and such potentialities should be sidelined totally. i soon moulded my behaviour to this mantra. and soon i realized how naive i had been in the beginning by just dispensing myself to each and every person over there without having any regards for maself and my progress.i realized that i have paid a huge amount of money to shape my future and not to indulge any sort of interpersonal relationship. 6 months down the line things have become pretty clear to me now and now my only agenda is concentrate on myself and lets others be the way they are. after all life is all about how you make it into being!

the worst situation for me in the year 2008 maybe is being jobless for the first 6 months of the year but its not that worst at all as i have learned to make money online afterwards and i may considered 2008 as my year of rising up. It's when i totally move on with heart ache and that i meet my new love. It was really a good start for me for having a whole new life and i hope that in the coming year that all we'll be settled-i mean i wish that i will be with my new love and that we will be together for the rest of our lives.

The worst situation that happened is my mother got sicked.She stayed at the hospital for some days and she is suffering from the disease from one month onwards and didnot recover till now.We are getting worried of her but hoping that she would soon recover.It is really heart-feeling situation which no one should get it.

Although I never worry about my employment, the year of 2008 is black to me, too many troubles have happened on me, some of them have ended but some still are outstanding, however,I believe I will successfully overcome the remaining, I have such faith when I settled the first one. The stock market is impossible to be always in the low position and I insist rebound will come!

hey nice thread..for me the worst thing that happened in the year 2008 was the economy downfall..i just graduated and had a nice job in the IT field..but due to the downfall in the economy the company shut down and so i lost the job..i had great dreams and ideas towards starting my new life..lol..all the good grades were useless now...but i am looking forward for a great new year 2009..thanks happy mylotting

i think the worst things that happened to me this 2008 was when my husband underwent an operation and after 2 months, i found out that i was pregnant but was too devastated when i had miscarriage. my world fell apart we lost the baby and we we're broke financially because of the expenses we have from my husband's operation and followed by D&C procedure, until now we still have loads and loads of debts. but still we're able to survive. we thank god for our strength to cope up with the loses.

my year was going great and fun until in november and december. my car's tired blew total 5 times in less than 30 days and twice in one day. got pulled over by cop car 2 times in one day (worst day of my 2008 life). so november and december was my worst and i will always remember those days.

Well, whenever my girlfriend broke up with me, I got into many many fights with people. Two people even came to my home, I had to tell my sister to lock the door as I left. I walked out and handled both guys by myself. The one guy walked up to me and I decided that when he was in reaching distance, I'd knock him out. He wasn't in a distance close enough for me and he was like "If you ever talk to (girlfriends name) again, I'll beat the snot out of you." He didn't say Snot. So I told him "Don't talk about it, be about it. Come do something." So as soon as he was in reaching distance, I landed a solid right handed punch square in the middle of his nose. He lost his footing and fell to his butt. I rushed around him and put him in a sleeper hold as his friend ran off to find help for his friend. I put the guy to sleep and his friend came back with a van and scooped up his friend. Nonetheless, I hate hurting people. I have been training for mixed martial arts for three years now so I can easily defend myself. I wish someone would have told this kid that. Nonetheless, that was the worst situation I had to be in.

in 2008,the olympic game wa hold in my country,no tourist group were allowed to come to beijing ,so i have nothing to do during that time,it;s really horrible.bye the way ,i'm a tour guide

I also lost my employment this November 2008...it sucks to face the new year as a bum.

Well, I don't like to complain too, too much. 2008, in all, hasn't been a really bad year for me. Things have moved along and haven't gotten any worse. I guess the worst thing that happened to me was that my husband moved back in with me. I don't know if I should say the worst, or the most difficult thing to deal with. Although the situation has it's plusses, it has major minuses. But, again, I don't like to complain too much because I am sure that the worst thing that happened to my husband was that his best friend got stabbed and killed, in my husband's apartment - while my husband was at my house visiting the kids. So, when you hear this, you have to count your blessings and realize that things could be worse .... be grateful for what you have been blessed with.

My worst situation just happened for 2008. On December 12,2008, was the last day of employment for me. The company I worked for closed. Now I will be facing 2009 jobless and looking for employment.

well for the past 6months i have been trying to make money online but i have no teven earned a single cent ...my paypal account balance is 0.00$. I have registered in more than 50 websites but all were fake i hav ewasted 6 months in fake websites i really hate this........this is the worst thig that happened to me in 2008......
