Why do you want to live in the states? Have you been there?

I would prefer USA as I know quite a lot about the country. Moreover, I speak English so there won't be any language problem. I don't know much about Germany, plus I don't speak German. But I am sutre Germany is a very nice country and a great place to stay in.

I have visited both Germany and the USA, both are lovely places. In reality I would have more chance of moving to Germany because people from my home country can live there legally. But many do though, possibly it is our language skills let us down as a nation. English is my mother tongue language and that is spoken in the USA. I am learning Spanish and so people in the USA speak that I know. If I could move to the USA I would live in tropical Florida or in Southern California so I could enjoy to warm weather. I imagine near to Seattle would be a wonderful place to live but the weather would be too cool for me.

I lived in Germany for a year and it was nice but too darn cold in the winter. I like California. Although, hm, I could see retiring in Hawaii. :-)

I have already lived in Germany and I like the country, I speak the language and it is close to my family in Denmark, so in many ways it would be more convenient for me to live in Germany. But the U.S. would be a totally new experience for me, so that would be more interesting and challenging to me, and if I had the chance to choose between those two countries I would probably pick the U.S.

Hi there Daniel! Well, I am happy where I am living right now which is in the Philippines. But if I really have to choose, I will choose to live in the US because most of my relatives from my mother's side lives there and it would be better to live there with them nearby than in another country where I don't know anyone at all. But I think that germany is beautiful. I'm just not brave enough to live somewhere where I don't know anyone and I don't even know how to speak and understand their language.

I prefer USA because because I am more familiar with the country's backgrounds. Aside from that, they are using the English language which I can speak and understand. I also like to live in Germany. According to my friends that country is beautiful also. I am only afraid of the communication gap. If given the chance to live in any of these countries, then I would surely grab the opportunity. I don't have friends in Germany but in USA I have my aunt. I am hoping that I can go abroad even if not in Germany or USA.
