I was wondering what everyone here does other than the obvious, trying to make money on the net.
My goal is to be a self-sufficient free lancer. Though that may be years ahead.
I currently am pursuing my bachelors degree and hence I am not doing anything for a job.
What do the rest of you do....for pay?

I have three jobs: I deal with people's claims for government benefits (though that ends in January due to illness... bah!), I'm a full-time carer for my partner and I write in a feeble attempt to become a freelance author! :)

Can you tell me something more about commodity trading?
Please share with us so that we too can join you and try to fight against the markets lowering.

its just like share trading, but in this we do not invest in companies, we invest in items like gold, copper , silver, zinc, crudeoil...etc etc, you can also trade in agro items and spices like cardomom, chillies, even gur etc, there are two markets, MCX(Mumbai) and NCDEX(Delhi) just like we have BSE and NSE for shares of companies. Nowadays as the rates are lowering, many deals are on hold, and much money is blocked in different trades, waiting for the rates to go up, so that we can sell them at good profits. If you have some extra money which you can block for long term, its good time tp purchase, but as the market is going lower and lower, can't say to what extent it can go....

Hi, friend.
I'm already married for more than five years now and we do have one daughter for a child. Aside from our daughter's future education, paying off all our outstanding obligations is one of the reasons why I had to earn extra bucks online. I have been working as a financial analyst in a local bank for more than 4 years now but I still find it difficult to make ends meet.
My spouse has a job, too, but it is quite unstable. Further, they don't obtain any benefits like loan availments from government agencies, or pension from premiums contributed. In addition, their pay is also below the minimum wage dictated by our national law.
Anyway, just for additional information, I have been in the local workforce for more than a decade now. But I'm afraid that by the end of the first quarter of next year, I will be one of the employees who will be displaced from our jobs because the company is in the process of dissolution, even before the global economic crisis set in.
Like you, I also wanted to become a self-sufficient free lancer. Admittedly, my first love is writing. In fact, I have written some short stories and short romance novels already. However, I still haven't tried to have them published. But when I came to know of mylot community, I felt like it was an answer to my prayers somehow.
Happy holidays!

Like you I'm still studying and trying to pursue my bachelor degree and hoping to have a good job in the future. I don't have any job now but I'm trying to earn money online to help for my school expenses. What I'm really looking was a real online job but I can't find any legit one. But I'm here at mylot and I received my first payment last September and I am working for my second payment now.
Good luck to your study..
Happy mylotting..

hi, my real job is out there with people in rural communities helping them help themselves interms of environment, food security, values, etc. I haven't logged in to mylot for some time because I'm assigned in a community where there is no internet, and I only get to check emails and so on once a month whenever I go to town, so I'm on vacation and catching up with mylotting to enjoy a stress free environment.
Good luck in your studies.

I am a mother, lover, and friend. I do freelancing online and I do a few online businesses online as well. I love being online, I have learned some many things online in the past year I could not tell you everything I have learned.
So my job is being online, everyday. It may seem like a lot but I like it. I have always loved learning new stuff and being online has given me the chance to be who and what I want to be.
If anyone has any questions pm me or send me a friend request I share stuff that I do online and you can make money without spending a dime! Happy mylotting.

I don't earn any money as I am a housewife.I really enjoy looking after my family and grandchildren when asked. My husband drives an HGV lorry for a supermarket and does quiet well out of it.I do work on here in my spare time,I used to be a cook ,but got fed up with it and we decided it would be better for all of us if I retired early, but I am so busy at home,I never get bored and bit fed up sometimes. If that happens I visit a friend and have a coffee for a change.merry christmas, good luck with your studies, xxx.

I'm a singer/songwriter currently pursuing a A.A.S. in Sound Technology so I'm kind of in the same boat. I want to get into music production and sound design after college, but I'm trying to get a part time job tutoring/mentoring inner city high school students in Algebra and English and college preparation. Keep your fingers crossed for me fellow mylotters. Right now I'm relying on the our government.

Saddly I don't do anything for pay. I stay at home. Currently I have been searching for a job, but not with much luck. I don't have much experience in anything except jobs that don't pay very much at all. I have been to college, but it didn't do me any good because even for an office job you still need experience. Well how am I going to get that unless someone gives me a chance.

My real job is working as a busser at a mexican restaurant called La Senorita's. The job sucks really bad because I rarely get scheduled and the job is more of a joke then a job. It sucks only getting scheduled for like three hours every other week or sometimes not even that. I'm not expecting to get that much saving done with a job like this one.
