Would you participate in a medical experiment? Why? Why not? Where would you draw the line? Have you already been part of a medical experiment? What kind of experiment?
I haven't participated in any medical experiments myself, but I would consider it. I don't want to take any medicine, so I would only be interested in other kinds of experiments. I would do a lot of research, before I accept and I would think carefully about it and about the consequences.
There is a site where they are looking for people for different experiments and I usually check the adds. I have found a couple of experiments that I was interested in, but I didn't qualify for them.

If a respectable clinical trial of something that would significantly improve either of my main ailments came along, and if I was convinced by the literature that it was worth a try, I would jump at the chance. I understand there are risks involved of unexpected side-effects, and I'm not a great fan of the medical profession as a whole, but one of my conditions makes life very unpleasant and the other will kill me before my time, so those risks are probably worth taking.

I won't jump on it right away but my mother just recently joined in out out of desperation on her case. My mother had cancer and so far all other methods fail on her. There was this one that was recently introduced and they just needed some patients who would be willing to be the first recipients of the medicines. it was given for free and so far it has been very effective on her that her body responded positively on her that she has recovered after that treatment. So I guess it worked well on her.

I have never participated in such experiments. So i have little knowledge on this. Dose the healthy people can particilate in or only the patients who sufferd from the illness aimed at by the new medicine can participate in? My opinion is some like yours. I would do some medical experiment without using the medicine, for i always think the medcine is somewhat harm to our body. But if I got some illness and can not find a effective way to crue by taking existing medcine, i will try. Also there is a risk , it also means a new hope.
