Cellphone/Mobile phone nowadays are already a part of our lives. Yes even our children kept on dreaming to have one if they don't have yet. Not only that, they are asking most sophisticated one rather than a simple one. Maybe because that's the new trend on our communication technology.
Being a busy man, how does it feel if your mobile phone got jam for even just one day?Isn't it that our feeling is like we're at the middle of the "Amazon Jungle"?
Can you describe yourself being a working busy man in the society but suddenly your mobile phone got jammed? [huh] I can't imagine myself...

I have never owned a cell phone and I doubt I ever will. I get irked at most peoples uses of them is one reason. I mean if I am going out for dinner with friends or family, I am doing this for entertainment and to get out. So I feel one should avoid answeriuing the phone yet they sit at the table as a waitress waits to take tjheir orders as they chat away being rude to other customers and mostly rude to their servers etc. I see this all too often when I go to my wifes work as she stands there waiting for rude customers to hang up their cell phones. I go out to get away not to talk on the phone. I survive very well withoput a cell phone. For emergencies while on the road I have OnStar in my car which also has phone service throiugh the radio speakers etc.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I'm right there with ya Grandpa Bob. I hate cellphones. Even if the person talking on the phone isn't bothering a soul, I just think it's extremely rude to be yapping on the phone in public.
I don't currently have a cell phone, and truly see no reason for myself to have one since I'm home most of the time.
I'd like for my hubby to have one though since he's on the road a lot for work, using work's truck, he actually has use for a cell phone.
But we wouldn't use it like a home phone. We wouldn't answer it in public, or have conversations in public. We'd use it for emergencies only, or while at home. That's it.

People are so paranoid about living without a cell phone. So silly. I haven't used my cell phone to make a call in six months! Haven't received one either. My cell phone is strictly for emergencies or disasters. Everyone who knows me, knows to try at home and if I'm not here to leave a voicemail. I don't understand why people today think they have to be plugged into the planet every waking moment. If you are constantly attached to these things or computers you can't enjoy nature and the world and people around you. Turn the thing off for a day, get out and enjoy the sunshine, smile at a few people and say hi. Its not like the cell phone is a life support system keeping you going for goodness sakes.

Without my phone with me for a day? My day wont be the same. My phone is just like a clothes to me that i felt naked without it. It would also be totally chaotic especially if i did not inform my hubby that i dont have my phone with me for a day. We are miles apart from each other and cellphone is the only means of our communication. And we do send sms to each other many times in a day. So he would totally be looking for me, and would wonder why he didnt received any message from me.

No cellphone in one day makes me feel disconnect from the whole world :o so it's like a lost feeling... like I'm isolated and I don't know where's my friend at, my family and stuff. It's a pain.

I won't really care, in fact I don't use my phone all that often. The main thing that will worry me is not having internet or computer access, just not having that for one day will be HORRIBLE!!! Call me geek if you want but internet and computers are just part of our lifestyle now.

I don't own a mobile phone my friend. I don't need it. On the other hand, I find it very difficult to survive without the Internet.
Cheers and happy Mylotting

Okay...internet is not far away with cellphone. Let's replace the cellphone with your internet. How does it feel without internet even just for one day?

You're not going to believe this but my mobile phone has been out of action for quite a few months now! I guess I have been relying on my landline! I do have a plan to pick up a new mobile phone although I have to get some finance behind me first. I must admit, I do like the apple i phone but that costs a fortune and I'm probably not going to use all the stuff that comes with that phone! I think perhaps I'll go for a phone that at least has a digital camera on it as well as the ability to take some video footage! Andrew

I receive less phonecall and messages per day, so cellphone seems to be a watch for me to check time. But I'd like to take cellphone with me more than wear watch. Sometimes I forgot putting phone in my pocket, then I would be upset a whole day and touch my pocket several times.lol...

I am very selective in receiving calls, rarely do I make calls on my mobile phone. I encourage friends to only text me. It saves money for both of us.
There is more freedom on the part of the receiver when the mode of communication is through texting - you can refuse to answer. When you do, the other party may also conclude that one reason for your silence could be that you have no load. Thus your non-response will not hurt so much, it may even elicit sympathy.

That would be real difficult since you are already accustomed of having a mobile phone with you all the time. I would feel like something's lacking with my life or there's an empty space on you. Mobile phone is very important for me since that's the only way I can communicate with my family.

Hi There!
Awww… that would be very awful if I don’t have my cell phone even just for a day. I always use my phone for sending messages especially for calling my boyfriend who is in abroad right now. I think I can’t live without my phone since it is the means of my communication with my relatives who is very far away from here, family and friends… and my man.. so…I just can’t imagine without it since it is a necessity for me.
Happy Mylotting and Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

I would be one of the worst day of my life. I would not know what to do and where to go on that day as all my schedules and appointments are on my cellphone. I would also not be able to call anyone as I do not remember most of the phone numbers since it is easier to just search for the name in the cellphone.
A cellphone nowadays is more than just a communication device that we used to call another person. It has become an important part of our daily lives as we have more than just phone numbers inside it. I also have all my pin numbers inside the phone and without the phone I would not be able to use any ATM. I would not be able to do any counter service at the bank either as all my account numbers are stored in the cellphone as well.
To me, it is one of the most useful invention that we have ever made for a long time. Cheers!

I'm in middle school, so you can see why I wouldn't want that to happen to me: us students and our texting. I probably can't live a day without my cellphone. I have a Nokia Xpress Music phone, and I use it to text 24/7. It's also useful when I can't find someone. I NEED MY CELLPHONE.

Mobile phone does become a important part of our lives. It is the only way to contact others or keep touch with my family when i was out.I take it with me almost every day.Sometimes I left it home, then I would be upset all day and keep regreting for my negligence.Cellphone is really important to me !
