Do you just watch what is on or do you go through the tv paper and plan your viewing so you don't miss anything good? There are certain things that I do want to watch, if not the right time I shall tape them...correction hubby will tape them. If we haven't watched them by the time he goes back to work in Jan then we won't bother

Hi ya Anne18 I will go through the paper and decide, like you, what I don't want to miss. I don't have any sort of recording device so if I miss it, I shall miss it! I think I will be fighting with the kids for the tv with the palystation 2 I have bought for the them for Christmas

i wanted to watch so i plan what i wanted to watch but sometimes i need to go out for errands then i can not watch it anymore or just plainly miss it. or sometimes my child wants to play or wants to watch his favorite shows on dvd so i cont have much of a choice. but i try to catch up the reruns but watch it very low for my child is sleeping already. sometimes i use earphones but my wife is not in favor with that for sometimes she is calling me but i can not hear.

I absolutely love the tv at Christmas! I have cable and so I'm able to go through all the channels and set automatic reminders! This is so much easier than having to go through a tv book, something I used to do once upon a time! I love some of those biblical epics like the Ten Commandments although that hasn't been on for years now. If it wasn't for the good old tv then Christmas would not be the same. Happy Christmas. "A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of ALl" on comedy Central this sunday, and even he falls short of the mark. Mr.Colbert is delightful, a few of the song parodies are clever, but over all, the show is too long and more than a little strained, much like the holiday specials is mocks

I have digital cable, so I am constantly turning on the guide and just flipping through it to see what is on. If a good movie is, then I watch that, or if one of my fav shows is on, I will watch that. Lately, there hasn't been much on though. That is when I turn on the movie channels.

I do not miss any special show during this occasion - and today's media plays a bigger role in setting up the note for these wonder holidays. A new year will come up with lots of hopes and optimism for us amidst massive Christmas celebration parties. TV Talk Shows help me to get more involved round the clock with the happy happenings in everywhere. Cheers!

It just depends on what is on, Christmas Day we don't watch alot of tv, theres too much stuff going on and everybody's excited. I usually don't look at the paper to see whats on, I just go through the guide on the tv, we've got satellite tv, and see whats on that way.

I used to watch a lot more tv than I do today. I started finding I would sit down to my favorite show and it was always a rerun. I guess it costs so much to make they have to show it several times to get their money back. At one time they used to have a new program each week and then during the summer they would have a summer replacement series. Then they started just rerunning during the summer. Then they started making only half a series and would play the original then once only play the rerun. Now they seem to make only eight to ten episodes and rerun them over and over again until you have seen them so many times you are sick of them.. Then they started moving my favorites around in search of an audience and they lost me because I lost track of when it was on. Anyways I am wandering again. As far as Christmas programming I like to watch the occasional special but there are so many bad Christmas movies out there I try to avoid some of them. There are a few good ones though, I guess it is a personal choice. I rarely tape them but will do so if I want one of my favorites and I cannot be home to see it.

Nope, don't get a schedule, so I pretty much watch what I normally watch, since the channels I normally watch don't do too much Christmas stuff anyway

I only like one show during christmas, which is, Home alone.. lol =D I think that's the best christmas show ever, though it's sad, but it's funny too.. haha ^_^ IN the past, i will be sure to catch them if i'm at home, and no matter how many times i have watched it, i still wanna watch it again.. haha =D But now, all the christmas shows that are showing, are not as nice, thus i always skip them, and be doing something else instead.. haha

I usually watch whatever is on, I flip through the channels to find something to watch. The only thing we've made a plan to see this season was Jeff Dunham's Christmas Special. Most of the holiday movies we either own on DVD, or will buy it if we want to see it and don't own it, or we'll rent the DVD. When we want to see one we don't want to wait until it's on TV.

We always pre-program all of our television shows so that we can watch them when we want and not miss anything. I guess the only thing that we watch live would be the news.

I love buying the Christmas television magazines to see what is going to be on over Christmas. If I see something really exciting I will try to sit down and watch it. I am always busy though on Christmas day and hate missing Eastenders but it is always on around the time I serve dinner. I will probably get to watch it repeated though.
