I'm not certain what a stored fat food is. Losing weight is a simple equation, the calories that you take in have to be less than the calories that you burn off. Are they a healthy food? That's another question. If you want to include french fries in your diet, you just have to accomodate for them in your calorie counting. Have you tried oven fries? Cut potatoes just as you would for french fries. Spread them in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Brush them with a little bit of olive oil. I also like to bake a bulb of garlic first and squeeze the garlic onto the potatoes after I brush on the olive oil. Bake at 425 until done. Yum. Just as good as the french fries that you love but so much less fat.

French fries are awful for anyone trying to lose weight. It doesn't matter what type of oil they are fried in. They are loaded with excess fat from the oil. Sorry it is not one of the things you can enjoy when you are on a serious diet. I suppose you could satisfy your craving with a couple of fries, but I would only do it if you can't get them out of your mind. You can also try baked sweet potato fries. They are very good for you and since they are baked, they contain no fat.
