I got my tattoo with my daughter and neice on my daughters 18th birthday, so it is something very special to me. It reminds me of a great period in my life. I have a small (1" x 1 1/2") butterfly on my left outside ankle. It is done like stained glass. Both the girls got their tattoos on their backs and both were flowered patterns with swirls on the sides. I still love my tattoo and never will regret getting it. In fact, I'd love to get one done with my son someday.

In this time I don't have a tatoo and I am not goint to have but if . . iI change my mind, I will have a tatoo something with an angel or so...

Haha, you're on all the artsy discussions huh!?
Well, I don't have any tattoos but am also thinking about getting one. I want something tribal that symbolizes movement or waves or an abstract depiction of triathlon (my sport ;) )
As far as your elaborate backpiece, I would say, grab a bottle of tequila and GO FOR IT!! my old swimming coach started with his shoulder and eventually got this INCREDIBLE full back tribal tattoo that looked AWESOME!!! maybe start with something small and then take it from there?
