Hey friends, are you ready for Christmas?? Have you finished your shopping for Christmas or yet to get done? I am not done with my shopping yet; have to finish it this weekend. What kinds of gifts do you like to buy for family and friends and what kind of gifts make you happy when you get it on Christmas???
What’s your favorite dish to cook for Christmas?
I hope you all have a great Christmas!!!

Do not feel bad sweetlady10. I am not really ready for Christmas. I havent finished buying a few things. I like to buy things that they can use instead of letting things get all dusty. I am happy with whatever i get as long as it is not perfume because i seem to get it every year. I dont really cook my mom, step-dad and grandma do all the cooking and I just spend time with the family.

I agree with you, I also like to give things as a gift which people will really use.

We didn't buy much this year...only for the grandbabies, because of financial restraints. But I am ready for Christmas with the exception of making fudge and cooking the dinner. My favorite dish to make for Christmas is Pistachio Salad. It is easy and everyone loves it, so it makes me feel good. Hubby always does the ham...he makes a magical ham, lol. I wish you a glorious Christmas as well.

All this for just two days! So much work, so much expense, so much hassle and stress just for two days my friend, hardly seems worth it, ok I know I sound like Scrooge or The Grinch but for me Christmas is overly commercialized and it's all about the dollar and spending what we haven't got. My interest over the years has got less and less. I do buy presents but just small gifts, it's the thought after all that counts, although I have to say I do enjoy my mother's full Christmas dinner she does us proud and no one in the family goes hungry!
